Really enjoying your videos! Couple questions - what item(s) do you recommend gambling for early on? Do you try and craft caster belts on sorc runs? Do you think sunder charms being in single player will aid your runs (i.e. will you try and farm them)? Do you think going a single element sorc (all fire/lightning/cold) is doable - or would it require extensive farming (>20 hrs)?
Thank you! What I gamble is highly dependent on what I need. If I found a belt and some boots, I'm gambling gloves. If I need a weapon I'm gambling that, if I need boots I gamble those. When I don't need anything specific I go for circlets. Crafted items except a few are consistently dissapointing so I don't tend to go for them. Sunder charms are Hell only, so I can't get them. Single element sorcs, all 3 kinds are totally viable, with lightning being the hardest to do. Cold being the easiest. The amount of farming needing is very dependant on when you feel safe enough to move forward

Thank you. A cold with some fire damage will do best. Meteorb/hydra orb/blizzard+meteor are probably the best 3. Basically stay away from lightning unless you get very specific gear and you should be fine. Get a tanky merc on any of those and you have a good starting setup

Look up these runewords and you can make most of your own gear from plain socketed stuff from runes you can find running Normal countess mostly Leaf, (Tir +Ral) in a staff, Stealth (Tal+Eth) in an armor, and Lore (Ort+Sol) in a helmet. When you can get your hands on a 4 socket longsword or broadsword Spirit (Tal+Thul+Ort+Amn) the leaf staff just use any 2 socket you find the runes are cheap enough you can upgrade later, armors same thing, Sol might be harder to find in Normal but Amn does drop or you can make them from Thul runes and a chipped topaz. I mostly just did countess runs from level 10 or so to 25 to bank up runes so I could make my own gear vs relying on uniques. I made it to level 67 using mostly stealth armors and my spirit sword paired with either rhyme or ancients pledge shields. Leaf staff got me started Rhyme Shael+eth Ancients pledge Rall+Ort+Tal.

Haha yeah I went full safety for this one. Evsn though Blizzard is better this is still a very solid build that I really shouldn't have taken three tries on.

They take about 12-18 hours on average for me. Sorc's being on the lower end of that. I've had builds go over and under that estimate though

How come you never put 1 point into energy shield? I feel like thats a big safety advantage even at lvl 1.
It makes you run out of mana at unexpected moments. If you have enough mana it is a sure thing though for 1 point atleast

But that's really boring and I really don't need it. Also moat trick barely works on console

Laying of Hands is absolutely useless, every blue gloves with mana would be better for your sorc.
50% fire res on gloves is a lot. I just chug pots for mana
