Today is the day the 2024 GLC Coupe I applied for will be delivered to my home. I'm very excited right now. I bought it because I liked its more sophisticated feel compared to the X4.
I test drove and was about to buy a 2024 Mercedes GLC300 but my wife hates the exterior look (I do too but I can live with it). Then she suggested looking at Cadillac. I wouldn't. Interiors get old and stale quick...That 2 liter 4 cylinder will always be there to remind you of an eco engine you get in a honda civic...Although the Civic may be faster than this lol
One major ding are the new seats are thinner and not as comfortable as the 23. The 23 also had wood interior (which is much more classy) than the cheap plastic all around in the car. This car also has less interior Space than the 23 and the car is a tad longer which hurts if you’re parking in major cities.
Much of this is opinion, however the reliability of the BMW needs to be noted, it went from such an unreliable brand to one of the tops. I got a BMW and a friend got a Mercedes, guess who had frequent warranty visits? Spoiler, it wasn't the BMW.
@@dwnshft Not just a good choice a better choice. A 6 cylinder will always be smoother better for passing on the highway luxury feeling. A luxury car should have a luxury engine, period. Interiors get stale quick too, just look at how badly the interior of the old GLC aged...Plus my X50e has hands free highway driving and the Mercedes is yet to offer that across the lineup for speeds over 40 mph...So for all their tech they still don't have hands free driving like the BMW, Tesla, Cadillac...
Absolutely the worst entertainment system designed by man. In German, the word "intuitive" translate to: Read the 6000 page manual now! There is absolutely nothing that is easy on the entertainment system on this car. The car drives terrific and was obviously designed by actual competent people. It amazes me that as you tried to figure out the system, you need to pull your attention off the road for minutes at a time - nice!

The interior simply and clean. This car is very cool.
Never considered a Benz until I rented one for a vacation. Loved it, so looked at other vehicles in the lineup, and this is my favourite model.
I hate the charging port issue but I loved it over the X4. I"ll be pursing this vehicle within a week

There is a chrging point i the backseats btw but this guy didint just find it.

Great video, how would you compare the GLC coupe vs GLE 53 coupe? Is it GLE worth the extra cost?
You did not mention any creaking or rattles from that dashboard facia… is that because it was still too new and no sounds?
Would love to get one, but its $120,000 drive away in Australia. I'll wait for used one in 12 months time.
There are cup holders in the back. Push the armrest once and the phone holder pops out….push it again the cup holders appear.😮

They took away ambient lighting around air vent turbine...
some have it some don't. i think the US version especially doesn't have it. not sure why but thats a bummer
