The Indian Education system has a great Arts / Science divide. This divide has now grown so big that it is affecting Indian society and consequently, Indian politics.
The Indian education system is a cauldron. Everyone who goes through schools in India goes through hell. But the Indian education system is particularly dehumanising for Arts students. While those who choose to become engineers and doctors do suffer in their own way (sometimes because they are forced into those careers by parents and society), those who choose the Arts stream suffer a different fate. They are the invisible ones in the Indian education system.
