- Design House Neon 52" ceiling fan in chrome/clear (plexiglass), new in box. This is one of my childhood fans. I remember always wanting one after looking at the one on the end of the display at my local Mills Fleet Farm store. Thanks to J.J. A. I now have the fan I always wanted as a child brand new in the box. Not exactly the greatest air mover, but the neon light is super cool and the overall fan itself is very unique.

I think it was awhile back, I really don't know. I just know one day Fleet Farm didn't have them anymore, and that was many years ago now, don't know if they lasted beyond then or not.
I would totally flip out into joy if I ever see a clear plexiglass neon ceiling fan in person! :D

I try not to use NIB or UIB fans in the house. I have so many fans, that I need the boxes for fans that take up space to contain their respective fan at all times or I see it as wasted space, like the box and the fan are taking up two different potential storage or install locations. Fans that don't have boxes are interchangeable for storage space, thus I install mostly used fans throughout the house. Besides, using a brand new fan continually depreciates the potential value.

I still have one of these fans its super rare from the year 2016
I bought it off another collector, originally they were sold at places like Service Merchandise and Mills Fleet Farm. Unfortunately they're now discontinued.

I can read, the box specifically says Design House. KoF made a different version of practically the same fan. Earlier DH Neons were practically identical to the King of Fans variant.
I turned off some of the other lights then to intensify the neon, I didn't turn them all off as some light kits don't have pullchains and others were just not convenient to turn off. If looks AWESOME in the dark, and creepy like you said.
The switch housing has to be long because it houses a huge circuit board thing for the neon light as well as the regular components, thus why the pullchains sit low because that board takes the whole upper part of the housing.

Cool! It's the kind of fan that would look perfect in a club. At 2:18 did you turn off all the other lights in the room? If not it must look really cool and almost spooky on high with the neon on with no other lights turn on in the room.
I like how the switch housing is particulary long. The pull chains are low on the switch housing.

I think this one is from the 2000s, the model itself dates from the 90s.
I found one at Goodwill today for $4.99 without the blades and my dad wouldn't let me get it
