Thanks 🙏 Paul , it helps me try not to cuss sometimes!! Ha ha ha , I need to delete sometimes my comments as I get cut off or see the hole of all holes in the road !!! Again thanks for all your comments and much appreciated
Apparently it was used in some kind of ceremony for when people died and they put them inside the jars but I think you should just Google it and you can get a lot more information. It dates back a long long time. Appreciate your comments and thanks for watching
Mike, Your wonderful videos bring back my memories of riding in Thailand and Lao. I am also a life long rider and would love to ride with you. Have you ever thought about exploring Indonesia? I'm game. Todd
Aloha Mate, I trust you are on the pegs. Nice to see dogs are not chasing you. For your gas situation do you carry that plastic-type; maybe the 1-2 liter type? What map application are you using that shows the topography? The breakfast seems a rocker.. any croissants.? Thanks for sharing the ride.
Yes all is good and thankfully only a few dogs. Regarding the gas situation I'm still able to find gas quite easily but I think that there was too many gas stations that were being built before the pandemic and some of them are massive structures with no services other than a gas pump which makes no sense. I'm just using Google maps as I have a local SIM card in my navigation phone and I'm using the terrain view. At one point I actually use maps me because I did not have internet connection and maps me does not require it but I downloaded the map before I came. Yes you can find a few croissants but baguettes are more common. Appreciate the comments and ride safe and thanks for watching
Well it's the same as Europe or North America so you drive on the right side of the road. The average speed is pretty tough to give you 100%, but on one of the roads I did 50 km and it took me 1 hour so it's not fast riding but yesterday video to come I could easily average 70 to 80 km per hour as the conditions were awesome. In these areas I don't typically ride much faster than a 100 especially in Laos where roads are littered with animals and lots of little surprises. Appreciate your comments and I will try to respond to any questions as quickly as possible.
Love the fact you commentate while riding.

Laos is the most beautiful country I've ever been.
For me it's like traveling back in time 30 years. There are many beautiful places but sadly the pollution is terrible 😔😔.
Hey Mike,
What side of the road do you ride on in Laos ?
What's your average speed on those roads ?
Thanks for sharing. What an education.
