What I dislike most about the bots is how I'll never really get to know where I truly rank on the high scores.
That’s why I think people who chase ranks on highscores just wasting their time cause jagex can’t even keep up with the bots and the bots over run the highscores when they made the lvl 3 high scores so many lvl3s were surrounded by bots lol
Im convinced Jagex lets the bots knowingly exist to artificially inflate player count
Bots are good for the game plain and simple without the bots RS would be dead.
Bots, for the most part, ruined the game for me. It makes the game feel really hollow. One of the most appealing parts about OSRS was the player run community. That's all gone in our favorite childhood RPG due to bot farms.
Plot twist… Jagex runs the bots to farm gold for extra revenue. How can a bot get 50,000 Vork kills as the only game content they’ve done and not trigger a ban!? That’s over 5 BILLION gold from that one bot alone.
imagine if 1 employee at jagex had a job of walking around the game as banning the no shit bots, it would be effortless and at MINIMUM show a good faith to the community in tackling this issue.
There is a bigger problem here then just bots, clearly someone at Jagex is okay with botting. Talk about that, or about how they showed us they can just pull them all into a world and kill them all and have fun. What the hell is even going on? Banning bots will make Jagex $. Maybe not more than the cut they get from XYZ gold seller.
ive been using the bot detector plugin and osrs is nothing but bots and ironmen lol
I've seen those bots on fossil island for months now, every time I get a task for the wyverns I report as they run past me. Did a lot of Moons of peril lately and it's also infested with bots
Not sure if you've seen Mod Matt's interview that he did on RiceCup's podcast, but that was eye opening for me as to Jagex's stance on bots. He outrightly states that Jagex views bots as a necessity in order to keep the economy moving and to make items instantly available in the G.E. the way we've come to expect. It is sort of sad to hear that from someone with so much insider knowledge, but he also points out many benefits of botting that most people don't think of. Either way, I play Iron almost exclusively now so I've come to be rather indifferent on the subject over the years.
There are GWD bots doing 6:0 at bandos and kiting sara with perfect pray switches as well with thousands of kc
I saw a Vorkath bot with 81K KC a few days back 😢
Great video, I highlighted the spitting wyvern bots to Sir Pugger,and have seen the Vorkath ones while doing a task. Recently I have seen a ton of bots doing the agility pyramid, sometimes 10-15 per world,all with 99+ agility
Jagex owns these bots themselves, I've seen the same bots at rev caves for 3 years.

When i wanted to do something brain dead i pked green drag bots on my pure, eventually common names got out of my combat range and id kill them on the main, then before ive taken my recent break from osrs, a few had already reached well over 100m str.
even after the recent "bot busting" stream from oldschool i went to rune dragons for a task was so hard to actually find a world without 2 or even 3 bots down there...
