At first they were facing it but then when they ejected from it they landed on the floor face first with the seats facing the ground. The indominous leaves the gyrosphere with the chairs facing downwards. When chris pratt and the main female cast member discover the gyroshpere the chairs are facing the normal direction. 3. Frozen also had a mistake when elsa was singing 'let it go'. As she makes her new dress out of her ice powers she lets her hair down which glitches through her shoulder.
Also 4. Transformers age of extinction had a worse mistake too. When Optimus and the main character went to fight the main evil robot (cant remember their names) the main guy hides behind a wall for cover. Suddenly a random extra appears and then disappears in the next shot.

As an editor, I would like to point out that editing a movie means literally putting the movie together, not checking the movie for mistakes. Therefore, many of these are visual effects mistakes or even writing mistakes, as in the case of Guardians. I can only imagine the poor editor who had to put this together, shaking his head the whole time.

I believe continuity, CG effects and good framings are important, but creating the feeling, atmosphere and tone of the movie is also a vital part of editing. If the filmmakers can get the audience to really submerge themselves into the character's world, none of the mistakes shown in the video would matter. Those are mistakes no doubt, but it shouldn't define the overall outcome of the movie. They can still be great movies.
In the Lord of the Rings, when Sam is fighting Shelob, he's holding his sword in his left hand and in the next scene it's in his right hand. (Or vice versa, I can't completely remember)
can i ad: the end scene where the silver speeder comes out and knocks the guards over is correct due to the fact the hall with the black and white décor is actually correct as if you remember correctly he went to the bottom of that hall and turned right, into the white hallway.... so... that part is correct. he left the elevator, went down the hall, the wall moved and he entered the white hallway, as he was leaving the guards entered the white hallway to capture them, hence them not being in the black and white hallway when he stopped with Magnetto in the elevator..
in harry potter, the one where hermione ron and harry drank the pollyjuice potion so harry was goyle ron was crab and hermoine was a cat...they dropped the glass of the pollyjuice potion...then at another shot the broken glasses on the floor had dissapeared
The last one was a stretch, you can easily say that's the corridor in around the corner, it's a long way from the lift to the cell, the guarded one was clearly not the one in front of the lift

Jurassic World: theres a hugeee stadium around the ocean exhibit at the beginning, but at the end the giant ocean dinosaur was able to easily snap up the Andomonisrex at the surface....maybe its because the stadium was in the underground position? but either way, I still think they would've put higher walls if that was even a slight possibility...

In 'Rise Of The Guardians' when Jack Frost took Sophie to her room, at that moment people didn't believe in him, and Sophie had her arms around Jack's neck, meaning she believed in him because she was able to touch him, but right before that, when they were in the Easter world, when they found Sophie, she could see all of the guardians except Jack.....
Cause she believed in them
+The Original Judwan the point is that Jack wouldn't have been able to touch Sophie if she didn't believe in him, but then throughout the rest of the movie they say that she doesn't believe in Jack.

As an editor, I would like to point out that editing a movie means literally putting the movie together, not checking the movie for mistakes. Therefore, many of these are visual effects mistakes or even writing mistakes, as in the case of Guardians. I can only imagine the poor editor who had to put this together, shaking his head the whole time.

PopTartNeko Usually, producers and the director act as the mistake checkers because they're able to watch the piece with some distance without focusing on the nitty-gritty aspects of creating it.
+PopTartNeko Usually they're called "in-betweeners" and are responsible for scene continuity between takes. Like if a character is smoking, the cigarette has to appear burned down the same distance, or water in a glass is at the same level, etc.
Ah, yes. The script supervisor also helps with watching for continuity. This stuff happens while filming rather than in post.
that's the whole point. the video was about the worlds greatest movie creators and editors, even miss a few things every now and then. obviously no one cared about the mistakes if they each made as much money as they did.

How is a logical fallacy in the script an error in exiting? Besides, given that Drax learns from his companions what the finger across the throat gesture means and demonstrates his understanding of it in his actual usage of the gesture, isn't it entirely possible that he could have picked up on a few pieces of figurative language around his friends?

I believe continuity, CG effects and good framings are important, but creating the feeling, atmosphere and tone of the movie is also a vital part of editing. If the filmmakers can get the audience to really submerge themselves into the character's world, none of the mistakes shown in the video would matter. Those are mistakes no doubt, but it shouldn't define the overall outcome of the movie. They can still be great movies.
In the Lord of the Rings, when Sam is fighting Shelob, he's holding his sword in his left hand and in the next scene it's in his right hand. (Or vice versa, I can't completely remember)

the end scene where the silver speeder comes out and knocks the guards over is correct due to the fact the hall with the black and white décor is actually correct as if you remember correctly he went to the bottom of that hall and turned right, into the white hallway.... so... that part is correct. he left the elevator, went down the hall, the wall moved and he entered the white hallway, as he was leaving the guards entered the white hallway to capture them, hence them not being in the black and white hallway when he stopped with Magnetto in the elevator..
In Frozen, when Elsa is singing Let It Go, when she takes out her braid, it swings through her left shoulder.

The last one was a stretch, you can easily say that's the corridor in around the corner, it's a long way from the lift to the cell, the guarded one was clearly not the one in front of the lift

for x men there were two hallways if you saw when he walked in, that's why no stripes and that's why no guards
um on the quick silver one there might have been 2 hall ways he had to run through

Jurassic World: theres a hugeee stadium around the ocean exhibit at the beginning, but at the end the giant ocean dinosaur was able to easily snap up the Andomonisrex at the surface....maybe its because the stadium was in the underground position? but either way, I still think they would've put higher walls if that was even a slight possibility...
