- Malindi used to be a thriving holiday destination, and is also where most domestic visitors to Watamu will fly into, but it's not somewhere that we have spent much time.
Saffron Garden in Malindi reached out to us and said they wanted to show us a side to the coastal town that we have never seen before, so we packed our bags, drove 30 minutes from Watamu and were ready to see what Saffron Garden had to show us.

A very beautiful place to visit malindi 🇰🇪📌
It really is!
Amazing to see this place on your channel. I'm actually neighbour with this hotel :)
Oh that's cool 🙂
I just subscribed! What a beautiful gift you are giving to your baby girl. The memories, lessons and stories you are all experiencing as a family is a Blessing that most can dream of. I can't wait to catch up on your videos as I recently discovered you. All the best on your new adventures🙂
Thank you so much for the kind words. Welcome to the channel 😀
@@WhereNextFamily thank you:)
You looked rather hawkish with your new headgear. Your new hawk-like abilities came in handy later on them zip-lines though.
Haha yes but my almost 100kg bodyweight didn't help me when I was almost dragged on the floor 😂
Falconry was one of the first places I ever visited in Malindi 10 years ago.
Must do thing in Malindi
Visit the artisans who make beaded sandals as well as get henna done by one of the local ladies
Great suggestion!
What a wonderful couple , with your lovely daughter, can't wait to see more from your channel.

Oh we spent two weeks in Malindi this summer and we missed all those! They should promote them better as it looks incredible! Thank you a lot for showing all the best places to visit around.
We really enjoyed long walk on the golden beach, and on the silver beach, market in the city and we also went to Marafa Hell’s Kitchen which is also a must to see around there.
Yes Marafa is beautiful.
Many businesses here aren't great at promoting themselves so it was nice to get out and see some things we hadn't seen before 🙂
I haven't being to malindi,we will definitely visit with my family at some point, and Will visit this place thanks for the info.
Lovley video!
I really want to visit kenya and specially Malindi, Do I have to apply for a visa and how do I do that the easiest way? Thank you! :)
It's very easy. Just go to the government website to apply for an ETA. Costs 30usd and takes about 15 minutes to complete 😊
Hippos in Malindi. What water body was that? Is that sabaki river because am sure hippose don't survive in saltwater
Yes its where the Galana River flows out to the Sabaki estuary.
Hippos can definitely survive in Salt Water. They will go wherever there is food for them 🙂
How come all the new hotels call you first?
Haha I'm sure they call other people too 🙂 Maybe it's just that we are available 😉
