Don't know why people get so hung up on the mag vs clip terminology. I think NERF has a deliberate policy of avoiding direct firearms comparisons hence "blasters" rather than "guns" and "darts" rather than "bullets". A NERF dart is not really a dart is it?
Maybe even allow Rapid Fires and Destinies because they are similar, i mean the Rapid Fire is also air powered and has fast rate of fire same with the Destiny from Buzz Bee

The Magstrike is my favorite blaster of all time because of its rate of fire and uniqueness. If it would have come with a second "mag" or you could buy extra that would be a game changer.
The fire rate on the Magstrike appears to be closer to 1000 RPM rather than the 600 I’ve seen a lot of people claim. EDIT: wait, it’s already here? Well shet, SHUT UP AND TAKE MY GOSH DARN MONEY HAS B R O!! EDIT 2: Now that I have one, it’s actually closer to 800 RPM at first, then dropping to 600 RPM. Still blisteringly fast for a Nerf gun. EDIT 3: It is actually closer to that 950-1000 RPM mark. The first one I got was a lemon that didn’t have a very good air tank. EDIT 4: This thing fires at approx. 925 RPM through a filled airtank. Taking the "10% figure" from Jared, that means older Magstrikes fire at about 835 RPM. "10%" is a massive improvement in fire rate running by those figures. I know, I edited this comment an ungodly amount of times, but I didn't feel like making an entirely new comment just to update on my situation and to post figures about the Magstrike.
Okay so if your mag goes 1/2 way and bounces in place you can make it work better if you open it up and remove the ratchet sound maker piece on the side. No more ratchet sounds but it has considerably less missfires.
Jared I just found out that you dont monetize your vids and how you do this because you love it. This really shows you enjoy what you do and you have a true passion. Keep up the great work :)

You're absolutely correct. This blaster is a lot of fun to use when you're in the mood to let 10 darts fly in an instance. The sound, and the feeling of the hammering of the air piston is so much fun.

My favorite nerf blaster honestly, looks fantastic, awesome fire rate, automatic AND air powered. I just bought the new version on the Stampede ecs-50 since old one I traded for was broke, and I do have a Magstrike, but is obviously old and probably past it’s prime after being in my nerf storage for 3 years. So long story short, IM BUYING OUT THE STORE.

It's crazy that Hasbro is giving this much love to the community. I kinda wish that they re-released the rapid fire 20 too, but the magstrike is a fine blaster itself.
The 2007 version can be modified to allow the air bladder to expand a bit more. You have to open up the plastic case and dremel out the plastic guards around the bladder. Doing so will allow you to pump it up enough for two full magazines before you have to re-pressurize. I have a blue 2007 version modified this way.

The old Magstrike used the old black tipped Whistler darts. The elite darts might work in the old Magstrike, but those old darts probably don't work in the Elite Magstrike. That is probably why they did it differently.
Not too shabby nerf. Magstrike always reminds me of my older brother's Airjet Power Plus Powerclip. I wonder if Nerf still has the machinery for the older icons, such as the Ballzooka, Razorbeast, and Crossbow.
My friend has one of the classic Magstrikes in his house’s basement (blue externals, though), and after shooting it a few times the last time I visited him, I have to say it’s a really fun gun. Seeing that some people have even gone as far as to HPA-tap these is also interesting... Nice to see they’re making a comeback!

It's a good secondary tho. I did a nerf war with some friends and we played a type of King of the hill. The hill was surrounded by barricades we set up and the magstrike was PERFECT for clearing out people in it. I just poked it in and pulled the trigger lol

They also had an Iron Man edition of this blaster as well and I happen to own it. I can remember I swung mine in one direction while firing and took out an entire team once, it was epic! Good times with a good blaster!
925 RPM in a market where the absolute fastest a non-Rival blaster can manage is barely over 300 RPM. This will definitely make for some easy multi-tags.
I think this gun might be the best "emergency" pistol, cause you are pretty sure to touch with 10 darts, and its not important if its long to reload, cause its just an emergency gun. great vidéo also, 1 more subscriber
With the 2007 version of the Magstrike, you can pump it about 5 or 6 times to shoot one or two darts at a time, And I like this because I can shoot all or one, and I don't use it in a nerf war but the gun is FUN!

I think this gun might be the best "emergency" pistol, cause you are pretty sure to touch with 10 darts, and its not important if its long to reload, cause its just an emergency gun. great vidéo also, 1 more subscriber
With the 2007 version of the Magstrike, you can pump it about 5 or 6 times to shoot one or two darts at a time, And I like this because I can shoot all or one, and I don't use it in a nerf war but the gun is FUN!
