Kayak Expedition Suriname

January 2020, started of with an offroad adventure over the Coesewijne savanna to be dropped of at the Coesewijne River. This black water river runs through an amazing nature reserve full of wildlife! Our plan was to paddle about 100km in 6 days back towards civilisation. Unfortunately we miscalculated the lack of current and managed to only reach half the length! Luckily we encoutered two fishermen who were willing to tow us back to our pickuppoint!
