For anyone coming from the south specifically from the areas around Columbus, Ohio, you want to take Highway 23 to Highway 90. In bucyrus, it turns into 4. That is a straight shot up to Sandusky.
If staying on-site, you can actually go fishing on the pier located by the cottages. And because it's private property no fishing license required. And yes I've done it during the evening & caught plenty of fish. It was very relaxing after a full day at the park.
Does anybody know if They would check I.d nowdays like for a season pass I got the payment plan before and only paid it a couple times and didn’t pay after and they won’t allow it in my name now, so I was goin to see if I could use a friends name and get a pass that way anybody think this is possible?

But their good be AI on it that would associate it with any other accounts that have your name or picture on it. If I were you, I would give them a call though. I would imagine they would be willing to work with you.
Been going to Cedar point since 1977. Looking at you going over the map brought back so many great memories. I always would take the second sky lift that would take you to the back of the park. Or I remember when frontier trail barely had any rides close to it & it actually felt like you were walking thru a forest with a paved trail with cottages/buildings sprinkled around the trail. Thank you for the awesome video.
I am going to have to watch this wonderful helpful video many times over because senior citizens have a tendency to forget what we watched 3 minutes later. I'll be back!

Not even remotely planning to ride Top Thrill 2. I remember ride lines being pretty bad back then and I can’t even imagine the lines for a new ride.
We have gold passes for this summer. It looks like if you stay on CP property you still can get in early as well. 2 trips solidly planned, one at castaway bay and the other camping at lighthouse point since my parents are nice enough to bring their camper 😁 Hoping to plan 1 to 2 more with friends or maybe by myself! You should mention that the daily fast pass prices change daily online and in person. Last year, we bought Fast Lane + for $175 in the park. It was the same online two days before for the 4th of July. It was worth every penny!
My home park is Kings Island. We have the Prestige passes and the passport. We are planning on coming up to Cedar Point at least three times this season (hopefully more). Do we get to utilize our bring a friend and/or one fast pass perks at Cedar Point or is that only for our home park Kings Island? Im going to cedar point in June on mu fiancee's 26th birthday and she has never gone and a month before i will be turning 32 and i havent been in 20 years at least last time i went was for a school trip and i dont remember the year but they just annouced Maverick or just opened Top Thrill just openee up the first time and i decided to jist go all out and spend a week at hotel breakers
Last few years I had platinum pass for Cedar Fair, now got the gold pass & all parks addon for this year. What's weird is that they let me keep the same platinum pass and claim that I will still be able to use it like I did last year. I'm skeptical about this, but will find out once the main season starts...
Very informative video! Our family will be going to CP for the first time in June as part of a massive theme park road trip! TT2 isn't so much of a concern for us since we are only a couple hours away from SFGA and have been on Kingda Ka several times. My deep in the weeds question concerns Hotel Breakers. We'll be checking in on a Monday. Two people in our group don't have season passes, but the other two do (gold pass with all park passport) Even though we can't officially check in until the afternoon, can we still park in the hotel parking lot early that morning for early entry into the park, or can we not park there until we have checked in later in the day? Same question can be applied for the privilege of early entry on that Monday. We the people in our party who don't have season passes be granted early entry on that Monday?
Early entry DOES come with Hotel Breakers. However, you would have to get the early entry tickets from breakers on the morning of your trip. You CAN park on the morning of your first night's stay at Hotel Breakers. (they have their own parking lot that I did not address in the video) I would call breakers if I was you and double check on this specific question because I would hate for you to show up and not have early entry or miss early entry because you have to turn around from the Breakers parking lot. I feel like that was a cop out answer there. I will have to look into this during the season this year. Because I have the prestige pass, I always have early park entry and when I stayed at breakers, I didn't have to worry about getting in early, or getting my breakers pass to get me in early. :)
Loving these videos as I get ready to visit in May. Got a question about boat rentals or tours.... Is there either a place to rent a pontoon boat at cedar point, or are boat tours offered? Would love to cruise around cedar point for the views and to just get on the water.
I would look over at Catawba for pontoon boats. At cedar point you can take a boat to the different islands (Kelly’s Island and Put in Bay) But there really isn’t a tour you can take that I know of on the water. You can take a Segway tour (I believe) or a rickshaw down the boardwalk.
My bet is top thrill won't have single purchase fast pass and the free one won't work for it for the first year purely based on the limit of one for the plus.

I just ordered my prestige pass and i was wondering if they would be mailing out a physical pass or is it only on your mobile device. How long does it take apx to receive this in the mail if so? Also a lot of hotels and restaurants along Milan Ave (250) for anyone looking for those options and don't want to pay a fortune for a cp one. Just about a 15 min drive so not far at all.
The single use fast lane should be more like $50.00 per use minimum especially on the premium coasters (maybe you can argue $25 for anything outside of the top-4), and the gold pass should be a little more expensive IMO, especially if all park pass will allow everyone in like the old platinum system. I wish prestige passes for how expensive they are would have more unique benefits and privileges. I hope the passholder preview days in late April are only for Prestige pass holders because there are way too many gold passholders within the GP. I hate that Prestige passes aren't accepted for the solar eclipse, that's stupid. It's ridiculous that prestige passholders with all season fast lane should still have to wait a half hour or worse to ride Steve or Millie just because there's too many GPers with gold passes and way-too-cheap single use fast lane tickets because Cedar Fair did a poor job pricing them out. Cedar Point is an upscale park and should be treated as such.
Even if you add up all the Fast pass money they make it wouldn't come near the cost of a coaster... The GP is the only reason you even got a nice coaster to ride... stop complaining ; )
@@supremefan I do agree. Accessibility is a good thing. It allows for cedar point to make more money and gets more people coming in. But regulars also add to the economy by purchasing meals and drinks and merchandise and by giving cedar point their money up front so that CP knows how they can plan. There is value in the timing of money.

The open land you are referring to is the Pipe Creek Watershed. It is a protected waterway.

I believe so. I had a kings island pass technically last year. And used my bring a friend pass at cedar point to take my brother last year.
I’m bound to get dozens of rides on Top Thrill 2 every visit because I use all season fast lane and alternate disability access.

They do not mail a pass. You’ll get a virtual pass and then you can see customer service for a physical pass if you want.
