It's called a bulkhead adapter. The fitting size is a standard garden hose thread. It originally had a leak, so I had an RV guy plastic weld a new thread onto the tank. I can't remember that specific thread size, since I have since sold the truck. I know it's a standard pipe thread, so don't overthink it. You can also simply drill a hole into a tank and install your own brass bulkhead adapter from either Lowe's/Home Depot, or better yet, visit a hydraulic supply store (the better choice!). You didn't mention if you have an existing tank or not, and whether or not you have an inlet or not, so I'm not sure what else I can help you with without more information. Feel free to reply here or DM if I can help you further.
Does the harbor freight pump replace the water pump on your truck mount or am I confused? I guess what I'm asking is can I use that cheap pump as a replacement when or if my pump goes out on my truck mount system?
K Woodoll if you’re referring to the high pressure pump on your truck mount system, no. This little pump’s main purpose is to get the water into your Truckmount. Not out.
Thank you Shawn.
great video. thanks for putting it on TH-cam.
What is the fitting thread size and pitch for the tanks? It seems like its universal on most tanks. Just what is its size?

what happens in the winter when you have your water and pumps and hoses? Very converned about freezing
+Bill .Marsh Place a space heater inside the truck at night.
Antifreeze the system
I've had them last as long as 8 months to 1 year. With harbor freight, that may differ. But they're so cheap that they can be easily replaced
Shawn Abbey The HF upgraded pumps, I'm using one, Drummond brand. Lifetime warranty
