Hasn’t that bike got a proprietary chain catcher? If not, you can buy one. It’ll stop the chain getting caught between the little ring and frame if the chain pops off. However, best way to stop it is set up the limiter screws properly on your front mech. Apologies if you already know this.
Enjoyable, as always! Cycling alongside you as "we" did from approx 7:15 onwards I think your saddle is significantly too low; you don't seem to be extending your legs as much as you ought. Have you considered having a profesional bike fit? ie Your bike made to be as good as it can be for you
Yes! I’ve had a couple of bike fits in my time - can’t beat them. Ive carried the measurements over to match the frame etc. My saddle is something I shift about with, tweaking. I did raise it a little more today, so it did need to go up as we think it had gone down. Cheers! Hope you’ve had a great weekend.

It jammed so weirdly! Didn’t snap, just locked! Bizarre.
