Just wanted to say John your music saved my life I only found you a month ago but you pulled me out of a very dark place. I lost someone I considered a brother in Afghanistan back in 05. And another one that was a civilian right next to me here in the states. I could never serve due to medical conditions but damn it had I been there my brother would still be alive.. Thank you.

As a marine vet who saw what the Vietnam War did to not only my family but also for the marines I served with who were there I'm glad you brought this cadence to life I served from 1983 to 1990 and I understand what these service members have been through as I have seen it first hand

this song and fallen soldiers have been on my spotify for 2 months. I am unable to serve but I do my best to honor the fallen and the retired. I have family currently serving and some retired. I had a friend that was a seal in the early 90s... haven't seen him in years and I have no idea if hes still alive.

Suggestion: Prepare.
 back when I was a trainer at a regional public safety  Academy… 1 of the subjects was training officers about scenarios that might occur in and off duty. I opened each class with the statement: “if you thought it, it’s already happened.  no matter how bizarre your imagination takes you… It’s already happened somewhere. So prepare.”
QUESTION:  what are you going to do when one of your children or family member is required to report for the draft?. right now there are countries that are forcing citizens to join their fighting forces, and many are over the age of 30 -50 years …of how you will react, and all prepare for your reaction, think about options should it happen.  the more prepared you are for every single situational scenario that you can come up with… The better prepared you will be.
