Thanks this fixed my problem. I had a 2016 SE that started constantly restarting, showing the apple logo for 2-3 seconds, then shut off, then the logo for 2-3 seconds and repeat over and over. I tried the vol up down power method 4 or 5 times but it didn't work. The second method you showed where you spammed the power button is what caused mine to stop the loop and start up. Many thanks!
This actually worked on my brother's SE 2nd Gen!!! We tried everything from hard reboot to fully resetting the phone, nothing worked. I scheduled a battery replacement at Best Buy. This was the last option before spending $69 for battery replacement. Thank you for this!!!
man, thank you so much! the damned thing just spontaneously restarted and got stuck mid-reboot, with this annoying rolling wheel in the middle of the screen, and refusrd to react to anything :) your video was the first one that popped on my stationary computer, and luckily, the first option worked, so I’m typing this comment from my iphone, as my stationary computer is very old, poorly maintained and sucks in general. it’s so slow I couldn’t even comment from it :) lol just thank you very much! I was already in full panic mode and you saved my sanity :)
Not useful or partly useful. This is why: This is maybe helpful if you want to recover your data. But an unstable phone suffers most of the time of bad solder joints or broken traces. When you cool down the board or heat up. Board connections can restore for a moment and make the phone boot. For example, The SE2020 suffers from board flexing and traces break around the simreader.

These techniques seem to have refreshed the phone to perform like new. Who knew slapping your phone around could fix so many problems!!! Seriously, thank you for this. A lot of iphone e-waste could be eliminated just through this video.

No matter what I do it won’t work. Contacted Apple support and they asked if it was charged and told me to update the phone. I’ve hard reset it. I cannot complete the update before it shuts down and resets the update process. It’s so annoying and none of these methods work.

Is this a skit, a joke, or one of those videos where someone does all these ridiculous things that is either cooking, fixing something, household hacks. or whatever, but the video goes on and on, and after 20 minutes you realize that it was intended to waste your time and they get credit for views etc. I was waiting for you to pour baking soda in the charging port, whack it three times with a spatula, spin around in place 10 times while reciting your social security number, push the volume up and power button together and at the same time stick a sewing needle in the charging port, and finally...pound it with a meat tenderizer.... and WALA!! Your phone is restored and no longer in the boot loop!
