hey the maths was easy ... they have a lot of fractions and in adding then together, they have percentages, learn the mm,cm,inches,feet,ounces, you have to convert them to each other
Passing the nursing test is when you study hard, if you can’t study or you don’t have time for your studies I’d advise you get yourself a help like Mr James .

That was my problem i schedules my teas for the first time last min and only had two weeks to study. I thought because i had A’s and B’s in all my science classes and most of my other electives it wouldn’t be that bad , boy! Was i wrong !!!!! OMG I just wanted to hug you with that last advice 🥺❤ I am planning to take the TEAS after not being accepted due to grades on a Nursing school that required the HESI (I got an 87 overall, which devastated me because I felt my effort was for nothing) And I am FREAKING OUT because I have heard so many times that the TEAS is harder than the HESI, and although the content is familiar because I just have to travel back in time, I didn't feel confident.... Until now 😄 positivity is key and I will apply it for this test, please pray for me!!! 🙏🏻
I took the ATI TEAS for RN & the HESI for LPN Boyy that teas was a pain lol I still scored above my schools asking % so I was good (I actually just got picked for an interview so I’m super happy). For the Hesi I honestly did not study as much but somehow managed to score in the 80’s, & got offered a spot in the program.

I am just now enrolling and after doing my research about requirements I am determined to make this journey as easy as possible (if I can) it may be too early for me to start studying but I believe the earlier the better. So I’ll be practicing for HESI because that’s the test for the college I’ll be attending to enrolling in the nursing program. Why do we take an entrance exam if we haven’t learned it? What knowledge do they expect you to know? Obviously that’s not the case but I’m unfamiliar with how the application process works.
I know I’m 5 months late to your comment but when you apply to nursing school you’re required to have your nursing prerequisites completed. For example at my school the 5 main prerequisites are human anatomy, human physiology, statistics, human microbiology, and chemistry. With those classes you get the basics of everything which prepares you for the teas test. However, you will still need to study and prepare as the test is timed. Every school is different so reach out to them and have them explain everything! I hope this helped a little!

Sometimes, it’s an entry level exam just so that they have a feel if you’re at college level math, reading, writing. I’m not too sure if you have Facebook but there’s a group called “Ati teas 6 test - study group” there’s a ton of questions PDFs, and info about nursing school! It’s really helpful and you can ask anything you want on there! Don’t get scared. You can do it!

You're definitely not too old. I know people who are 50 that went to nursing school, and a lot of my classmates are in their 40's there is a time and season for everything.

My problem is the wonderlic test. I have one more chance to take it and each time I took it I was off by 1 point. I just pray to God I pass this next test really wanna get into nursing school.

Great advice! I’m applying to more than one nursing school but they all require different tests. I’m currently at a community college and plan on transferring to a university to pursue my BSN. Should I just study for the university I’m mostly interested in?
The admissions manager told me not to study more than two days and he made me schedule it in two days and we only have to do reading, vocabulary, and grammar

You're definitely not too old. I know people who are 50 that went to nursing school, and a lot of my classmates are in their 40's there is a time and season for everything.

You never to old to learn take your time I'm 19 almost 20 I made the best decision to prepare for college at Adult education College transitions program your don't give up you got this you have I going to college at 22 or 23 your never to old we all have different ways of learning keep going 😊

It doesn’t change every year all that much! In fact, TEAS still sells their 2016 books. You’ll be fine!😊

Great advice! I’m applying to more than one nursing school but they all require different tests. I’m currently at a community college and plan on transferring to a university to pursue my BSN. Should I just study for the university I’m mostly interested in?
