Once again , wife noticed me w sleep apnea back in military days. HLR rep I just had conference with last month. She turned my claim into a failure to assist error
There are definitely medical studies linking jet fuel exposure to sleep apnea that I've used for my clients. Find those studies and submit them to help your claim!
Can you educate us a little more about jet fuel exposure, please? I was an Army aviation crewman. I’m currently at 90%. When I applied for Rhinitis/sinus issues, it was denied, however the VA did note that I was exposed to jet fuel. So, I’m wondering if that is chasing after. Thank you so much for helping us! 🇺🇸

@@comodice905 yes, conceding exposure is just the first step in the process, then finding evidence in the form of medical studies to connect your symptoms to that exposure is what gets you service connection
Hi, I spent 15 years of an army and airforce POL. In fact, I was the fuel laboratory ncoic. I just retired last month, and I am not sure what symptoms are linked to Jp-8 exposure. Please advise 🙏
A good place to start is with anything you are currently diagnosed with and then searching for any medical studies linking that condition to jet fuel exposure OR any of the components of jet fuel (benzene is a major one). Since you are just retired start your claim ASAP as getting things service connected within a year of discharge is ideal.
