(August 1944) Invasion of Southern France , Invasion fleet at sea, 45th Infantry Division, Gliders take off & land in France, DC-3's in formation, paratroopers, 451st Bomb Group B-24 Liberator, bombs impacting, strafing attacks, naval bombardment, 35th Infantry Division, barrage balloons, LST's come in, German fortifications, Greyhound armored car, runway construction, Normandy, US POW's liberated, mob rounds up collaborators, German supply depots captured, 3.7cm AT gun, Then I got bored
Annoys me when they talk about French Collaborators and just show women who took a soldier into her house only to end up pregnant and have her head shaved and be ostracized for yrs wheras the men were the ones activley collaborating by joining the SS and other organisations like the Milice

It was war in the 40s, what did you expect, Hollywood quality film? Hardly.
very interisting but to much fake battle noise
Not fake war noises, just the equipment used during the 40s, is not like cameras of today.
