Mesmerizing F/A-18 RC Jet Flight Demo with SMOKE !!! ✈️ Osca Jets 2023

- Watch Arnaud Sense fly this masterful solo flight display with a 1/5.75th scale F/A-18 Hornet RC jet by Skymaster in the classic plain military grey livery of the US Navy VFA-131 squadron! Arnaud flies his Hornet really scale-like, mimicking the moves of the full scale counterpart with great skill! He even added wingtip smoke to make the show even cooler! (Sadly, one of the cartridges didn't ignite). With a couple of Jets Munt M210TS (I think? Gotta double check) engines installed in the aircraft, this jet is a real beast with a thrust to weight ratio exceeding the unit!
The flight was performed at the Barcelona - Osca Jets 2023 international event, which took place in the facilities of 'Club Aeromodelismo Osca', located in Igriés (Huesca, Spain) the last weekend of september. The field at which the event was hosted has a really outstanding mountain backdrop which made it possible to film truly breathtaking shots of the jets zooming by as if it was a movie scene!
Osca Jets is the latest installment of a series of events following on the legacy of the Barcelona Jets and Cerdanya Jets event, gathering over 80 pilots from all over Europe, and about twice that number of jet aircraft. Just like in all the previous occasions, the organization made an astounding work and the event was a total success!

How do people get models like this??? Is it usually custom from the ground up?
There are manufacturers that build them... but you are still getting a composite kit that needs a lot of work to get airworthy, so it's a mix.
