- In this video Captain Zac and I hit up our local wrecks in 60 and 80 ft to put together a two man fluke limit on Bucktail Jigs and Gulp. We end the day getting some chicken mahi on local pots. Like, subscribe, and share. More TUNA and SWORDS action coming soon!!!
Dude I’m just starting to crab and fish now. I wanna learn bc me and my pops never got the chance to go living in Pennsylvania before he passed a few years ago. This type of stuff I wished I could have shared with him but that’s why I am trying to learn and share with my 2 year old daughter since I live on the NJ coast in HAZLET. I appreciate your videos so far bc you explain stuff very well for beginners. 🙂
thanks so much for watching Michael!!
Congrats on the catch! I’m also docked at the Nugget...you guys drove right past my boat on the way out. Really enjoying the videos.
That's awesome Joey. Thanks for watching. Stop by the big boat on D dock if we are around!
Reaper Fishing NJ absolutely. Likewise. You’re more than welcome to head out with me on my boat anytime I’m going out. Be safe and tight lines to you.
Dang! Lesson learned 😐 keep them vlogs going ! Living the dream you’re right John Skinner is up there with y’all
Thanks so much for watching Howard!!
Nice trip guys. Chris with the hot hand.
Thanks as always for watching Jason. I sure kicked the young guy's butt.
I feel your pain. I tossed a brand new trevla/stradic 4000 combo in raritan bay. Hands were numb and I tried tossing a popper at bass. 5 hundo down the drain! Love your vids keep it up chris!
Brutal right? Thanks so much for watching.
Nice catch. No above 22 for me this season. Keep ‘m coming.
Thanks as always for watching Ciro. We got lucky this year and had some real nice fluke. Wifey got the biggest...just over 26"
Don't feel too bad. I've done that trick before with a CUSTOM rod and an expensive reel! But you're right, you get stunned when it first happens and you freeze. When it happened to me I was lucky enough to be standing next to my good buddy (and young sharpie) who was lightning fast in his reaction and he netted it before it sunk! I was fortunate that he was there or else I would have lost a $700 combo!
Nice flatties!!! Way to go! I just sold my 25' that I kept in Cape May. Buy a Carolina Skiff to focus behind Sea Isle to Stone Harbor and the TI and OC reefs on good days!
Thanks for watching B. Good luck with the Carolina.
Reaper Fishing NJ thanks brother!!
Alright budd ,what's up budd, good job budd 😂😂😂😂😂😂 good video guys 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Ha........Zac is just too long to say repeatedly. Thanks for watching.
12:05 thats why you don’t pump the rod when you’re fluking
Yes sir you are right. Steady pressure is all you need.
You drink one to many Doppio Espresso Mr Shakey!
I drop shipped u a sippy cup and and fishing pole lanyard! Haha
Nice flatties!
Ha. Thanks as always for watching Lance. I'm addicted to the caffeine.
@@reaperfishingnj8623this old sailor is also!
Great video. But I have to know how Zac has his trolling motor set up. It looks like he didn't cut his bow rail. Is that right? If so I need details. Please
Thanks as always for watching Pete. I'll have him chime in .
Hey Pete, yes there is a notch cut out that’s slightly wider than trolling motor shaft, then I have a piece of aluminum rail one size bigger that slides over to bridge it back together with two stainless quick release pins. If you google trolling motor with bow rail you should see the reference from where I got the idea, I also crimped stainless wire to the pins because I know for a fact I’d drop them overboard. Thanks again for watching hope I explained it clearly.
@@slmed87 Thanks Z man.
Thanks guys. I have seen how that is done. Time to pull the trigger on purchasing the trolling motor
Pete Adams worth every penny!!
Great job with a boat limit of nice fish . Fluking out of Manasquan has been very bad this year
Thanks for watching Thomas. Sorry to hear bout the slow fishing up there.
I love how he’s laughing about a 50 dollar poll he just lost in the ocean
Ha. It was may more than 50 bucks unfortunately. Thanks so much for watching
Hopefully good luck this fluke season
Always getting it done
Thanks dude.
lol i lost a nice set up like that twice in my life time that sucks bro i feel ya
Hey bud love your videos. My father and I are docked In Brigantine, maybe we can meet up and do some back bay flounder fishing this summer...
Keep up the good work we really enjoy the videos, not enough local videos out there.
Thanks so much for watching! Sounds good. I'm around the island 365
What kind of trolling motor is that and how does it fold up with the hand rails on the boat.
Minn Kota Terrova. It has a pedal that you push down then you just pull it right up. Zac has a small piece of removable hand rail that comes off super easy
@@reaperfishingnj8623 ahhhh good deal that what I was curious about was the handrail getting in the way.
Wow, what a day
thanks!!
What rod were you using for the Mahi
Tsunami 6'6 MH Line 10-20 lb, Lure 1/4-1.5 oz on a Penn 4500. Def too much for those small mahi, but this is one of our setups for the bigger ones out in the canyons.
@@reaperfishingnj8623 Thank you
What do you mean by mahi belly?
The belly meat that usually gets thrown away off a filet
What happen scare to jump to the water ? Lol
nah. I swim out in the canyons. I think i was just stunned.
I was thinking the same thing I would of emptied my pockets and dove straight down
I'm a Shimano rep. please don't buy another Calcutta
What's wrong with Calcutta's?
Thanks for watching Mike. What should I get?
Reaper Fishing NJ I have 2 Calcutta's exactly like the one you lost and I love them. I think you said in a previous video how much you liked them didn't you?
@@9531-d7w It was an ok reel honestly
