I think most likely Crook came with a good deal for Slaughterhouse, like he said, and Joe didn't wanna rap so he just said he didn't like the deal as an excuse. According to Crook, he had the type of deal that most artists could only dream of getting and put it together with Joe's stipulations in mind. So when he brought the deal to the table with all the demands Joe was making, Joe said it wasn't good enough and started nitpicking just because he isn't gonna rap again.
Royce was certainly right about one thing. That album definitely divided the fan base and forced us to choose sides in this mess. No matter what else you have to say this was the move that made the fans too invested in yall petty back and forths trying to figure out which side is lying.
