I just started investing as a teen using the Bloom app, and this video was really helpful! Convincing my parents was hard but they are comfortable with Bloom and not robinhood lol

I just turned 23 yesterday and I’ve been seriously considering investing. I’d be lying if I said “I’m not nervous” to start moving forwards with this- but I feel like this is a smart life decision for me to partake in.

For the last two years I’ve used this as a savings account for Christmas gifts. The fact you get cask back going through their app, and being able to use their debit card for those purchases makes this a no-brainer! It’s so much better than a “Christmas savings club” at a bank.

So I’m new to investing. I appreciate your advice because I just started with Robinhood and I am going to stray away and start with something smaller. I’m eager to learn but definitely overwhelmed with the graphs, and allll the information. I just want my money to grow, I’m 22, so I like to think I’m at a good start. Solid info. As a beginner in my 30’s I found Acorns to be extremely user friendly and I do like how they promote long term. I started back in May and some people knock me for paying the $5 a month but honestly I have enough money in there working for me and the kids to not really even notice the monthly fee

Glad I found this. Owned stock with a broker that sold out to IBKR, sorry I didn't transfer my stock. I've never been so lost in my life, all I can do is look at what the stocks are worth. Looking for something simpler and I also enjoy researching companies to see what they do over the long term. Thinking Ally might be better than Acorns but I like the rounding up ideas too.
Yeah we use Ally Invest too. M1 Finance is nice to look at and is also free.

They only allow ETF’s that invest in a bunch of companies at one, not individual stocks
The stock market is constantly changing leaving traders perplexed and riddled about what to do, who recalls last year around this same period anyone who invested heavily on either crypto or Ev stocks was probably laughing his or her way through last year. All I can say is invest! Invest! Invest! Put in your monies into anything the professionals are putting you on.

I really like your approach. I been reading and watching a lot of different information on investment and I think is always important to make it something more approachable to the general public. I like that you offered a lot of insight for the different apps, and I hope I can find some "boring" math on some of your other content.
