this WSM was arguably the most intense and tiresome for the athletes. 11 events for the heat and then continued to 8 events in the FINAL for the finalist ..... that would never EVER happen in nowadays wsm, regardless if WSM 2004 had the lighter set of events. 19 events for the top 6 finalist ??? Vasyl Virastyuk was really putting his magnum opus in this comp.
I kind of like it... different from the norm of what we're used to... and there's incentives to keep pushing even after you've "won" as you get extra points... so it takes away the saving one's self for the next event because you probably want to get as many points as possible.
@@theworldsstrongestman Stone-off sucks because it incentivizes athletes to coast in third place the whole time and makes every event but stones a lot less important.
This was the first WSM I watched back in the day. It gave me a lot of motivation in the gym at college
One of the greatest strongman competitions ever 💯❤️
Big Z.. ❤
We need a full replay of 2013 WSM

It was a total one off format too! Probably a reason they never did it again.
@@lukebbuff totally agree, with the nowadays standard's heavier sets of weight, these new gen athletes would be just done in the Heat group xd.
Lotta looks a lot like Luke Stoltman.
I don't think suits and straps should be allowed in WSM. I don't think it matters in other competitions.
I would've loved to see Thor wrestle Brian.
Yee yee... 🏋🏼♀️✨✨🏋🏼♀️🎬🎞️🎥🇨🇴🏋🏼♀️ Full movie full motivation 🏋🏼♀️🎵
This format was terrible

Incentives to keep pushing even after you've "won"... we agree, the Stone Off rocks for that reason.
@@unclemoneymoneyuncle8702 There's a reason they immediately went back to the old format 😂

@@theworldsstrongestman the stone off is trash. All the fans agree and most of the competitors as well.
