    As someone born in Atlanta, GA in 1976, I remember that in the '90s, we considered claiming B’s & C’s without being from California as inauthentic. We knew that this wasn’t our culture or our hoods. It's the younger generation that has integrated this into their lives. I deeply respect Nipsey for keeping it real and expressing how those raised in these California hoods and cultures REALLY feel.

      @thomaswashington2127 each Chapter had its own uniqueness. Nobody in the Chicago Chapter was claiming Oakland. Like non LA B's and Cs that claim LA sets i.e.
      *Rolling 60s or even Piru simply because there are mostly geographical locations attached to the set. So to me, being in Mississippi claiming Rolling 20s or the Fruits is crazy work.
      I guess you can be a B or C or GD or VL not from the origin spot, but just understand it's called "Off brand" or "Copy cat"
      The Panthers situation was a little different, because they started the chapters relatively around the same time. Bs Cs Gs and Vs all started in the 1960s (so when Southerners start claiming gangs it looked crazy because they started 30 yrs later.. we all know what was going on in the south in the 1960s...and East Coast look even crazier because in the 90s wasnt no Bloods and Crips in NY. Wasnt no GD sets on the east coast.)

      @@blackleague212First off...by your wording you have insulted many members of the "Black Communitty." The correct numeration should be some; because only a small percentage of the "Black Community" are involved in gang activity and or criminal activity.
      Secondly, those involved in the above activities have more standing to address what goes on that affect their organizations. That is the topic that Nipsey was asked about and what Nipsey is addressing. Gang activity has been and remains a part of many other demographics other than the "Black Community".
      There was a time where many people knew the difference between what applied to "The Streets"; Gang Activity; Organized Crime. It is wise to know the pros and cons before you join any organizations. Many people ignorantly and some knowingly embrace alternative lifestyles without adherence to the foundational structure of those lifestyles leading to false claiming, financial losses, perils, destruction, and deaths.

Eritrea is a country in the horn of Africa which is comprised of various ethnicities. Arabic is spoken in Eritrea but it is not the main language of the country. Also less than 3 percent of the people are ethnically Arab. Nipsey's father has never declared himself to be an Arab so your comment is asinine.

    • @robertjackson8733
      @robertjackson8733 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @@TheRealZJM377 Go study some basic geography. Eretria is not a middle eastern country, it's located in East Africa. Saying you are your father's seed is unscientific and an outdated idea. A child gets half of his/her genes from the mother and father. However, mitochondrial DNA is exclusively inherited from the mother. A mother carries a child for nine months and contributes more cellular material. The mother's health and nutritional intake greatly influences the development of the child. Some have even said the mother's mental state during pregnancy contributes to a child's development. The mother typically spends more time with a child than the father after giving birth, she's the primary care giver. The mother's influence on a child's development far outweighs a father's contribution. Saying you are of your father's seed is meaningless in the 21st century.
