  • Welcome to the new year special an absolutely intense day with almost all working machines running except for the Siemens as I didn't have a load that suited it and didn't get to use it on day 2 🥲 and of course Miele W1 as it isn't plumbed in
Anyway hope everyone has a fantastic 2024 and enjoy the absolute craziness from all the machines from high water levels to fun sudslocks and shed shattering spins 😂
Washing machines featured in the video:
    Beko bPRO500 with 3 loads
    Hotpoint HVF344 with 2 loads
Beko WTG with a quick Boilwash to refresh the machine and 1 load of washing
Miele Professional PW6055 with 2 loads
Tumble dryers featured in the video:
    Grundig Expressdry with 5 loads
    Beko Condenser with 2 loads
    Hotpoint H3 with 1 load
I can't really do chapters well with this video because of multiple machines being on at once in the shed but I will try and put time stamps for when each load starts washing 🙃

Thanks for the great video. Nice touch the Beko having motor braking at the end of a spin 11:33

It sounds cool and is cool, but like why not make it brake from very beginning (when it starts slowing down)? D:

@@ArmoredsoldierCZ The electronically produced braking effect I assume takes some electrical power and therefore is only used towards the end of the spin when an out of balance load will start to cause the drum to oscillate more and cause wear to the suspension dampers. I believe that aplying a DC to an induction motor windings will cause a braking effect but I'm not sure that this method is used here. If anyone knows how it's done please advise. I assume the motor is an induction motor but again I'm not sure.

@@Martindyna Well i mean, it doesnt have breaking function like for example a car. It ´´breaks´´ by running the motor to the opposite side. Also then i know about LG (my mom has one) and AEG (i have one) that break from very start of stopping. Im not profesional, so dont take what i wrote as 100% true. I have this experience mostly from fans. You make them turn the opposite dirrection by hand and then turn it on and it will break faster than usual. Then just shut it off when it is stopped. And thats how i assume it works with washing machines.

That Miele is nearly the same as the ones we've got in our laundry in my sheltered accommodation complex.

Haha yeah it’s a commercial model mine came from a care home and was gifted to me from my old engineering job :) it’s probably the same as the ones at your accommodation complex most likely the only difference is mine has less cycles 🙃
