Little tip: since you have the cricket joy mats, stick the front of your card on it with it folded over the side while doing placement. It will hold the card in place, but will be moveable as you need. Great job on your newest endeavor!

HI Bethany, I followed along it turned out great, only problem was the glitter - how long should I add heat so that the glitter is not flaking off? I wish I could send you picture of my final card, my sister is going to love it!
Yay! You should literally see it melt into a solid, and then you will know it is done! It may take some practice knowing what to look for, but it just smooths out and will not have any flakes remaining.
Trick... spray some water onto your stencil and press it down onto a new card. Then you get more uses out of the stencil AND spread the use of th ink AND get another card out of it. :)

Sorry one question! Is there a name for the brush with ink technique? I’m getting into stamps and I’ve made so many mistakes but right now I just put my stamp on my ink and then on my paper
If you’re referring to the technique she did with the ink, brush and stencil, that would be ink blending. There are a lot of videos that teach ink blending - it does take some practice, depending on the “look” you want.

Yes! Scrapbooking is where I began with crafting, way back in 2004ish. It's so nice to get back to paper and glue! Ha ha!

Ohhh! You will fall in love with this! Have you tried Mama Elephant stamps? I think you will love them.
Such a sweet card. Embossing is my favourite part of card making. For a different effect, try heating the powder from the back.
Oh! Tell me more! What does that do? It sounds intriguing!
@@Bethadilly It melts the powder slower and gives a smoother finish to the emboss for me. Give it a go.

Pixie Spray by Brutus Monroe! I use tape as well.
I have Ohuhu brand alcohol markers too. The big 48 marker collection but no brush tips.
