    I actually think the dirt and dust adds a bit to the raw, lower contrast images. I like the effect.

    I like the genuine quality of the photos. The collage was creative too.

    hai, just finished watching your video and I really like it.
    the simplicity and the raw emotion during the self portrait session just amazing.
    cant wait to see more of your art works.
    warm greeting from fellow analog photographer, you just got another subsricer :)

    Very nice, thanks❤. Its some 20 years ago that I develloped my last film. But to get a clean film I added a few drops of a fluid to the last water (wetting agent?). Then shake the spool in the water and I used a pilers with rubber edges to pre-dry the film ( bit tricky). But I also admire your courage to show the photos like this !

    the dirt and watermarks just made the shots even cooler! ... great stuff ... very inspiring ... cool to see you developing in the bathroom kneeling in front of the bathtub ... i thought i was the only one to work so unergonomic 🙈

    I really enjoyed your range of portraits as well as the water marks on the prints, I think they add character. Also the collage where you pasted yourself behind the trees! Thanks for sharing 😊

    Loved the collage idea and construction. The self-portraits on film with its imperfections and grain better than digital for this documentary style. Commendations for completing the project!

    Well done on this self portrait exercise! Time well spent practicing your craft and hopefully it also allowed you to see a side of yourself that might not always be apparent in your everyday life. Learning to really see the world around us through observation for photography or drawing is magical. 📷🙂

    Question: what is your most inspiring photographer ?

  • @williamshaffer9216
    @williamshaffer9216 ปีที่แล้ว

    I enjoyed your video! It is not easy for most photographers to enjoy being photographed by others. The self portrait is our way around that situation! There are only a couple of people I feel comfortable with pointing a camera at me. As a photographer of many years, I find your videos to be both interesting and educational!

    • @conipez
      @conipez  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yess, I'm the same, it is not easy for me at all haha. Thank you so much! Im glad you're enjoying my videos :)

    I'm wondering how come your pictures are squared and not rectangular if you are not using a medium format camera? mmm 🤔
