Dude I love you I have been trying to do this for HOURS! HUGE thanks mate!
Interesting 🤓 didn't know about x11. Thanks for your videos 🙂
Your explanation is so good. Thank you.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I have been going crazy trying to figure out why gedit was not working. I did not know it wouldn't work on putty without xming.
Awesome. Many thanks.
That was actually good.
Well done.
Really excellent informative video.
I've long avoided using X11 on Windows but your explanation made it much more accessible.
Thank you for sharing!
I'm really happy to hear that
Thanks for sharing
This entire video is great evidence as to why everyone should be supporting Wayland on future versions of Linux. I don't think I've used this feature in 15 years. Great tut tho!
thank you
This is cool stuff.
I got it mostly working. I couldn’t use it for Firefox but when I tested the clock and eMacs it worked.
With Firefox said my authorization wasn’t correct
Has anyone found a way to make ssh x11 app forwarding of firefox perform in a usable way? I'm using aws ec2 instances and hvae tested with native opengl [ - wgl ] enabled in xserver settings + export LIBGL_ALWAYS_INDIRECT=1 on linux shell side and makes no difference, likewise with it disabled. Do i need to perhaps use some specific aws ec2 [ or azr or gcp or linod ] vm confiugration settings to get this to work with enough performance thta it is usable?
Can you help me on windows 11
