      @@NinjaNerdOfficial Hey. Great video. I have a question. If the air keeps flowing out, how will it equalize with the atmospheric pressure when the volume keeps decreasing so the pressure should keep increasing

    • @meshalalghamdi8704
      @meshalalghamdi8704 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      tolu falaye diaphragm and thoracic cavity will increase so the volume and the pressure will decrease then the air will be flown inside ur lungs and thats due to the elasticity of the lung. If the volume keeps decreasing the elasticity will increase cause they r inversely proportional to each other.

    * Forced inspiration:
    Diaphragm, external intersostals + SCM, scalenes & pectoralis minor.
    * Quiet expiration:
    no muscles involved, totally passive.
    By elasticity ofof the lungs.
    Also diaphragm & external intercostals are relaxing.
    * Forced expiration:
    -- Abdominal wall muscles:
    External oblique
    Internal oblique
    Transverse abdominus
    A little bit by rectus abdominus.
    -- Internal intercostals.

    Thank you brother! Pure gold.
    When we can understand the basic science and the normal mechanics better , we can treat patients to normalize their abnormalities with confidence.
    We need to spend more time understanding the norms before attempting to correct the abnormal.
    Love the clarity of the explanation that's driven with passion.
