    In this video we try an assortment of British biscuits. Join us as we do a taste test of 10 varieties of popular British biscuits and cakes and get the full Brit experience by dunking these treats in mugs of hot Yorkshire tea. These were amazing! * Nutella Biscuits
    * Tower Gate Fig Rolls
    * M&S All Butter Shortbread
    * Galaxy Digestive Biscuits
    * Galaxy Cake Bars Chocolate
    * Cadbury Cookies Milk Chocolate
    * Belmont Biscuits Original Digestives
    * Belmont Biscuits Dark Chocolate Digestives

    If you get over the pond, you must try a cream tea! It will blow your mind. A proper cream tea has scones with jam and clotted cream. A full afternoon tea would also include small crustless sandwiches, maybe cocktail sausage rolls and mini pork pies with chutney. So many new things for you to try!

    Everyone has their own preferred strength of tea - there are lots of memes showing multiple cups of tea in the style of a paint colour chart, asking 'how do you take yours?'.
    A lot of people eat plain digestive biscuit with cheese (obviously not dunking them).
    In the UK most large, softer doughed, chocolate chip cookies are store's own brand, often cooked in the in-store bakery. You usually buy a bag of 4-5 cookies. There are various 'hard chocolate chip cookies' like the one you tried today made by various brands.

    Hi guys loving the video's. One thing I notice when some Americns attempt to make tea is they don't use "Boiling" water. Hot water that has boiled isn't going to work properly to infuse the tea. The water needs to be brought to a rolling boil and then imediatel y added too the tea bag that's in your mug. Using just hot water that has gone off the boil will result in an insipid flavourless liquid.

    A Cookie is a type of biscuit, biscuit is literally french for twice baked, you guys do this thing all the time where you call items by a brand or variety of them. Like how you call all hot tubs jacuzzi's. My friends family in south carolina call all carbonated drinks 'cokes'. popsicle is a type of ice pop, thermos is a type of flask, kleenex is a brand of tissue, you call plasters band aids which is brand, even dumpster a very american word is for a brand of bin.
    another thing that would blow your mind is how cheap they are too, those big packs of cookies are like £1 to £1.50. Every supermarket or bakier will have fresh ones too, i can get a pack of 5 fresh made cookies for £1, you can get a pack of like 12 cookies in lidl for 37p. None of these products are expensive or 'high quality' to us haha.

    Edit: I don’t mean to sound patronising by saying you’ve become naturals at it… what I mean by that is, I’ve seen some people dunk their biscuits for way too long, and it breaks off and falls into the tea. You guys seem to just know the right amount of time to keep it in there before disaster happens!!

    There is no VAT on cakes and biscuits here, unless the biscuit has chocolate on it, then can be taxed, A company that makes Jaffa Cakes had to go to court and prove that Jaffa Cakes are not biscuits and didn't need tax, they showed that a cake starts soft and gets hard when it goes stale, but a biscuit starts hard and goes soft when its stale. They won the case, that's how you can tell the difference.

    Hello, Italian here, Nutella biscuits are not specifically a British product, Ferrero is the manufacturer of the Nutella and Kinder brands and is Italian. Ferrero, is an Italian multinational company with headquarters in Alba, Italy. Ferrero is a manufacturer of branded chocolate and confectionery products, and the second biggest chocolate producer and confectionery company in the world. It's a private company owned by the Ferrero family, it was founded on 14 May 1946 in Alba, Piedmont, Italy, by Pietro Ferrero, a confectioner and small-time pastry maker who laid the groundwork for Nutella. I also love the Cadbury's signature biscuit collection, which is an assortment of nine different types of chocolate biscuits in milk chocolate, white chocolate and dark chocolate varieties, simply delicious. I like digestive biscuits (don't eat them very often), but may have crackers, or crispbakes (with or without margarine) topped with cheese spread and apple sauce on top. Have tried plain soft cheese on top of scotch pancakes with apple sauce on top. Plain soft cheese or fruit yoghurt works well as a substitute for cream on top of scotch pancakes or scones. Especially if you have a creamy tasting yoghurt.
