I love how the doctor is getting so annoyed that Buck is being so cavalier about it all when he's like I'm gonna get 2 pizzas and she goes, you experienced a very traumatic event, and it's like, ma'am, this boy has experienced so much trauma, this is like another regular day for him 😂
Buck and Bobby dynamic is so special. Same as Buck and Christopher. Pseudo father and son dynamic will always be special and magical for TV. No wonder why they are the most loved.
I'm more pissed that we didn't get A SINGLE Buddie scene with Eddie sitting by his bedside and trying to get him to come back. This could've been filled with Buddie scenes but no...and now I dont even want to watch the show anymore. They keep short changing us. Stringing us along for nothing.
@@mrseddiediaz PLEASE stop watching it if you only watch for potential ships that never gonna happen. We sick of yall hating for no reason IT'S NOT IMPLIED and never gonna happen
@Amy M by all means go away! 9-1-1 was never about Buddie. And Buck's relationship isn't centered around Eddie. So please yes, go somewhere else to whine and cry. Who cares if the show lost one petty TH-cam viewer. 🙄
@@excommunicado7507 people are allowed to be displeased when the writers were clearly building up to a romantic relationship and then inexplicably dropped it
We didn't got Eddie in any scene, no more than one minute and he didn't even interacted with Buck, like, they are besties and we got nothing 😔 I'm sad and mad
If we kind of stretch it out, I thought Eddie being not in his coma dream is kind of poetic. Because when we think about it, everyone in Buck's dream kind of prevented him from waking up into the reality. They all kinda couldn't understand Buck's need to leave the dream. They wanted him to stay (except for Bobby at the end). Even Chris at the end tried to stop Buck by asking him to find Eddie. So I figured Eddie is not there because he was not pulling back Buck from waking up. Though it was a eye opening dream for Buck, everything in the dream represented Buck's need to stay in AU world. So, Eddie being the best buddy (ha see what I did there😅) he is, is waiting for Buck in the real world trying pull him back. Hence keeping aside the debate over their relationship, we can be pretty sure Eddie will always have a special place in Buck's life and he is the one that almost always anchor Buck to the steady ground. Sometimes it is the absence of a person that helps us to find our way. But did the script writers would have thought like this... never😂 However the situation here Buck was in a nightmare and it is a Good thing Eddie was not in it.
I guess writers decided to leave Eddie and Buck bromance behind. Not a single scene between the two of them for the entire episode. A lot of scenes with Bobby, a lot with Buck parents, he even had scene with Athena but not Eddie. On one hand, it's sad, but on the other hand if writers are not going to create romantic storyline for them (and they obviously not) maybe it's for the best. It was really painful to watch how they love each other, care for each other but never made that final step about which we were dreaming for several seasons. It's better to gradually let go (probably not watching tv show at all) than being hooked all the time and in the end never get their romantic relationship.
To be fair, Bobby is like a 2nd father he never had. Bobby was always there for him when he needed him and would scold him when he does something wrong. Buck and Hen was the one that helped Bobby in season 1 get out of the slump he was in so i guess the writers wanted to paint Bobby as his guardian even in his dream he would help direct him. I'm very sure in the next one or two (hopefully) they will focus on how the team cope with this incident since they witness Buck get injured right in front of them.
Even though i love Tarlos in 9-1-1 Lone Star, I wonder their character and storyline was kinda a sign that Buddie will never happen. If that's the case. I would be so mad and thankful at the same time. Cause i love Tarlos but upset that they were a consolation prize.
I have to say I wish we got a scene of him waking from the coma but at the same time him breaking through the glass in his dream in a way was him waking up but still it would have been nice Ps I know that and wanting more Eddie and buck scenes to but when Eddie got shot buck was kinda the same as Eddie looking after Chris and wanting to be there but seeing your friend in that state ain’t easy so in many ways I understand from the writers thinking but again I do wish we got the waking up moment

I do wish people would stop going on about the non-existent bromance between Eddie and Buck. They're friends. Good friends. Best friends. Why is that not enough? I hope the writers don't introduce a romance between them. I think it's very healthy that two men can care about each other so deeply without a romance being slapped on to appease the fantasies of a very vocal few. The main characters in 9-1-1 all work as they are. I absolutely believe in each and every one of them and their familial/friendship dynamics. Why're you Eddie and Buck bromance shippers trying to fix what isn't broken? smh.
I love how much they've reduced the Eddie and Buck scenes. Serves those rabid shoppers right for making EVERYTHING about these 2 men that were just friends
Excuse my English, this is a translator. But I wonder, I don't read the American press on TV series, I would like to know, it seems to me alone that the interaction between the characters of Buck and Eddie has been greatly reduced in recent seasons? I'm not implying a romantic relationship between these characters, even though I'm a fan of Eddie/Buck. It's just that even in such a plot as Evan's coma, Eddie practically does not appear. The symbolism of the character as a friend is not shown. Even minimalistic. I also see that Eddie has little time in episodes. The actor is not paid a fee? Or maybe he is not in demand? He has very small roles in recent seasons. If you have any information why this is so, I would be glad to know it. Sometimes it seems that the actors themselves do not communicate well (Ryan and Oliver). There is no connection between them even on the set. As I see it.
Ryan had some issues in the past. Maybe the cast not in that much of a good relationship now. Also yes he's gonna have a baby and def libe in another city. Also, writers were accused of using queerbating and now they're not doing that anymore
@@lunatic5162 It's clear about queerbating, but that doesn't mean that you need to gradually withdraw the character from the show. I think it's going to happen to Eddie sooner or later. There will be some reason why the character will be removed from the series altogether. Although with him the previous seasons were more intense. But apparently, this series will also die eventually, because of the stretched endless seasons, where each episode is water. (so speaking in my country, when I mean not an interesting show, nothing happens there and the plot has exhausted itself) you can see this when the tension of expectation has been replaced by disappointment. The writers started such a stir because of the promo of the 10th series, and as a result, I personally watched the series with a stone face, completely losing interest in what was happening. And I also see that the actors' performance is starting to fall. I had to wait the whole series for the last scene, and this expectation was water. About nothing. Family showdowns get boring quickly, the series seemed to me to have slipped into Santa Barbara, not 911, and interesting plots that were in previous seasons. Maybe the writers have changed there?
