I would listen to it whenever I was Drawing Cartoons an d or Animating!
Same here! For some reason, its very conducive for drawing
In my opinion, depression, particularly manic depression (Bipolar) is a hell of an illness, and makes people do things they may not otherwise do when unmedicated on a manic episode. John made some mistakes, we ALL have. We're all human. I like the guy.
His talents, and artistic genius gave us some of the best memories via tv. His contribution to the 90s literally made my childhood better by way of escapism. I can still remember watching the show, and laughing, taking my mind off of the instability I had no control over (unhealthy childhood). I love his style, and will always think of him as an icon rather than focusing on his faults/personal life.
Kricfalusi’s bipolar disorder does NOT give him an excuse for what he did to those two teenage girls. Most people who are neurodivergent are not sexual predators.
However, Kricfalusi’s undiagnosed ADHD and bipolar disorder could be a factor in his bad habit of failing to meet production deadlines. Consistent failure to stick to a schedule is a major symptom of ADHD.

@@BugsyPleebs I do know what I’m talking about. I have ADHD...and I have been professionally diagnosed with both Clinical Depression, OCD and ADHD. I am neurodivergent. ADHD causes me to miss deadlines when I have a tight schedule, and it also causes me to be “time blind”...that means that I cannot keep track of time and I completely lack a mental clock for schedules.

He had a hard, troubled childhood. But he changed the animation industry almost single handedly. Going all the way back to what he did at Hannah barbera with the 80s jetsons
I was an instant fan of Ren and Stimpy the first time I saw it in the early nineties, Rens voice was a big part of the attraction , because it reminded me of people doing impression's of Peter Lorre. Ren and stimpy actually makes me laugh out loud , which isn't exactly usual for me , it also seemed like an old style of cartoon that I'd been missing for years, but actually it was pretty much like nothing I'd seen before , quite strange.

Unlike Ren And Stimpy my show was wholesome. It also had better animation. Also my show's creators David Burke and Laslo Nosek were nice wholesome men. Unlike John.
Genius and madness often coexist in the same mind. However, sometimes madness overshadows genius and brings about the downfall of the mind who has both. Other times, the perversion of one’s desires and base instincts will conspire with madness to bring about the downfall of genius.
John Kricfalusi’s psychological faults and character flaws have overshadowed his genius and brought about his downfall. He is a cautionary tale of a genius who has fallen to his own madness and his own perversion.
Hes not even really a genius, apart from ren and stimpy all of his other shows sucked. So who knows if it was him behind ren and stimpy’s success
I don't like Ren And Stimpy. It's vile, dark, creepy, weird, and ugly. Same with Invader Zim.
