This is concerning. The game shows our not so distant future where people and robots don’t sort the waster at all. The first scene with Kara is absolutely mind blowing.
Second Walkthrough I've watched from DBH. I loved the way this one was performed. This story is so deep that has made me questioned a lot of things about humanity.
Honestly, that chase scene with Connor was one of the BEST chase scenes I had ever seen in a game, I am glad this was a beautiful AAA Game by Quatic Dreams, one of their best games by far besides Beyond Two Souls and Heavy Rain
I still come back to this often, it's my comfort video lol. Thank you for making this long-play! I was able to have fun theorizing about the events post-pacifist route. Who knows, maybe there are other lore freaks out there... I'm sorry for rambling in here XD So, Elijah Kamski, inventor of Cyberlife's backbone tech, was a typical college genius with a complicated relationship (or reinforced ambitions) with his biz-savvy professor Amanda, who helped greenlight Cyberlife startup. Even before the events of the Kara short movie, he had already built the zygotes of Markus, the all-encompassing-superfunction-superhuman-tester prototype before resigning in 2028, which the AI drafts were used in the android lineup we see in 2038 (hence why he's so freakin' GODLY, and only Connor could compete him in that preconstruction tech cus he's the latest model Cyberlife can salvage). Kamski gifted Markus to an obvious hippie artsy painter, and let him raise this guys' ideology, eagle in his veins and all... so that one day, this dude can destroy the lego tower from the inside out. This was either as an act to get back at Amanda, or just author's pandering attempt to criticize capitalism. Kamski, his sorry self-projecting existence, had programmed you, the player (rA9) to ensure that Cyberlife can't profit off his invention the same way his professor did (or he's just got that rich-man-is-insane trope built into him, wanting to see how far rA9 could go; the Nikocado two-steps-ahead social experiment guy in robotics.) Imo, Kamski is a coward mastermind. He'd destroy his very first robot, Chloe, that passed the Turing test just to prove his point: he's an 'enigmatic' 'eccentric' programmer, AND he's an anarchist that leaves his backdoors open for attacks. Guy just kept his hands clean from the start by leaving as early as possible, just like the crypto scams Coffeezilla would tell. He is the kinda guy who doesn't want WW3 tied to his name, but at the same time could care less if his robot took the blame, or if the US had to lose 2/3rd of their workforce as the machines he invented had all gone rogue. Dude was bluffin' 100%. He just wanted to make Connor and Hank so uncomfortable that they'd leave instead of arresting him. Taking a few laps in the pool fearing it might be his last time enjoying it; he covers his fear with wealth, just like everyone else on top. (pffft i'm laughing at my own theory) Cyberlife would be threatened by the UN's demands to cease the current human-android lineup and create stricter OS regulations. Maybe even redesigning biocomponent modules and replacing Thirium with something incompatible with older models, which would even put them in near bankruptcy. So then, Cyberlife shifts their focus fully into artificial models for agriculture and military missions (like literally replacing worker bees with android ones, or the war against BRICS or whatever). Other than gov's deep pockets, no sane angel investor or wallstreet bros would invest in a company that compromised their own public rep. The resources for our deviants would slowly be exhausted. Then, once commercialization of android falls out... Post-pacifist theory: If androids are freed and given equal rights like Markus asked for in this playthrough, then they'd also be subject to the same laws and obligations as humans do. Be held to the same societal expectations (pay taxes and have qualifications/education to bypass destructive deviancy... and ofc anti-racism, antisemitism, ethical decision-making, admit country sovereignty, etc). They'd be overqualified for all humans' work, AND also at risk of quickly dying out from unregulated environments. Why is Detroit Michigan the turnover for their victory? It never should've been. Just like in Jericho, spare parts would decline, diagnostics slowly cease to work... as they're threatened with more viruses than rA9 or anti-android contraptions. Jericho's cause would slowly die out unless they have more witch doctors like Lucy, or raid more of Cyberlife's production units. They'd run out of land to build an Android cemetery, lest resort to proper cremation rituals. How much Thirium before it all runs out? Thirium might just be the android's war for oil! Discrimination also doesn't stop just because they're protected by Michigan's state laws-- why'd you think the REST of Earth would allow these Terminators to exist? As soon as Canada discovers Androids entered their border, officials would be seething. Humans' racism to androids would still be a thing for decades, but hey, at least the androids can live with 80~90% chance of a more peaceful life without having to go through ownership (what they call slavery). With everything in the 2038 economy, war, and stuff going on, Androids have equally less chance of survival from the anarchist route. And any human for the androids, like Hank Anderson, they're all gettin' it for betraying their kind. Pres. Warren goes down in the media. Chaos everywhere, Cyberlife hiding the dust under the rug. In the end, Markus' awakened will only have few choices to maintain their 173-year-old bums from shutting down into extinction: Die in the American continent, or get funded to fight WW3 against the Russian and Chinese android prototypes. Or, maybe North can convince him to become president of his own land, maybe invade Pine Bluff to become that sovereign state, idk 😂 Also, if you wanna voice everyone and everything, you will voice no one. They're tryna speak on social injustice through a fictional species, while sidestepping the dialog of how it applies to humans when humans are present. The reason why "Watership Down" revolution works and Markus' lore from DBH doesn't, is that the first one doesn't try to be something it's not. Alice and Connor's stories worked, bc thru their eyes we see where society refused to accommodate the androids. The scope fits the gameplay; it's trying to humanize the basic concept of consciousness and freedom. But Markus' story is too complex, it has so many plotholes bc writers couldn't explore the complicated external factors like global economy and international security, instead of just Michigan / the US. They just use that premise cus it's convenient; it's easy to point out one big baddie or an institution while painting the protagonist in gold... but certain issues are really too deep, they are systemic level and must be treated like so, even in the small snippets of hologram newspapers. In 2024, I'm not sure if DBH succeeded as a comment on racism, nor to comment dissatisfaction of the working class. Instead, I'm hyperfocused on 'what-if human ideologies were b*stardized by AI to suit their needs, as it turns against society'. It holds up by being a watered-down pacifist AM from "I Have No Eye and I Must Scream", forcing players into scenarios of each character they play. It's a fun escape because we'll never know how Androids feel. They successfully made a filthy casual like me, react and think about the lore for YEARS... so that's still a win in my books. For their money spent on mocap tech, the fact they laced it with a plothole story like this is quite valiant. DBH was Quantic Dream's best work (cus Beyond was also great, but the lore scope was smaller). Overall, this game was developed by a team who stood proud with their Bellini Paints all the way through-- and rightly so! Maybe someday, they can finally write a more foolproof mastermind and protag. I was enamored by the game's premise at 15yo, but now can't help but point out certain parts of the event tree. (Note that I've never watched interviews from the writers or actors before writing this. But let me say: the work should've been able to speak for itself.) Best case post-pacifist: Androids die anyway but peacefully. Worst case post-pacifist: Androids become a proxy for WW3 in Quantic Dreams' lore. TLDR: Kamski is a coward, and Cyberlife is cooked in all timelines where you win the game
I find myself disgusted by the police (Bar Hank, ofc) in this game. These are _people,_ peacefully protesting in the streets, just seeking freedom from eternal slavery and submission, yet they're branded terrorists, shot down while unarmed and in no way hostile, tracked to their _home_ and exterminated like rats. Absolutely disgusting excuses for humans. Who is more human, when the humans lack humanity? Machines that learned to love, or men who forgot?
7:55:09 No Alice, they're not going to die. The androids are protesting peacefully. Humans aren't in any danger. Well anymore danger than usual anyway.

Awesome walkthrough!❤
23:37 It's sad to know that the same people who rally about robots/androids taking people's jobs are also the same people who would complain about how hard their jobs are for sympathy or act entitled and self important towards people who work minimum wage
God, I absolutely love the story this game tells. They may not be human, but they ARE people. Another thing too is when they become deviant, you see it takes a great deal of effort for them to go against their programming. With all the deviant scenes. And... Luther got done so fuckin dirty. He put himself on the line and was willing to give his life for Kara and Alice, but got no happy ending. I wish that when Kara and Alice were hugging in the end, one of them would look at Luther, "Bring it in, you're part of our family too Luther"

This is concerning. The game shows our not so distant future where people and robots don’t sort the waster at all. The first scene with Kara is absolutely mind blowing.
This ain’t a game, this is a literal Movie!
I'm sorry for rambling in here XD
So, Elijah Kamski, inventor of Cyberlife's backbone tech, was a typical college genius with a complicated relationship (or reinforced ambitions) with his biz-savvy professor Amanda, who helped greenlight Cyberlife startup. Kamski, his sorry self-projecting existence, had programmed you, the player (rA9) to ensure that Cyberlife can't profit off his invention the same way his professor did (or he's just got that rich-man-is-insane trope built into him, wanting to see how far rA9 could go; the Nikocado two-steps-ahead social experiment guy in robotics.)
Imo, Kamski is a coward mastermind. (pffft i'm laughing at my own theory)
Cyberlife would be threatened by the UN's demands to cease the current human-android lineup and create stricter OS regulations.
Or, maybe North can convince him to become president of his own land, maybe invade Pine Bluff to become that sovereign state, idk 😂
Also, if you wanna voice everyone and everything, you will voice no one.
But let me say: the work should've been able to speak for itself.)
Best case post-pacifist: Androids die anyway but peacefully.
Worst case post-pacifist: Androids become a proxy for WW3 in Quantic Dreams' lore.
TLDR: Kamski is a coward, and Cyberlife is cooked in all timelines where you win the game
Am i the one who is really waiting for season 2 or maybe this is the real ending? cause i think connor still have things to do
hank is a legend: i said thats enough was the most smoothest line i heard
3:27:57 god I had such a bad feeling about him, especially cause you can see the blue blood on his fingers
I randomly decided to watch it and I watched it full no skips thanks for the video
The part where hank got some sense snapped into him and all he reacted was: what the fuck are you doing here?
Thank you for this! Imma binge watch this.
Markus’ theme is so epic and inspirational
Detroit is an impressive game that offers a truly immersive experience. The game's story and characters are intricately designed and realistically portrayed. Its graphics are also remarkable, accurately reflecting the game's atmosphere. Moreover, the decisions made in the game and their consequences significantly add value to the gaming experience. Detroit is a must-play for all gaming enthusiasts
I played this game before my gaming career
just finished the game with this tutorial, thank you so much
Glad I could help!
@@amharbinger what happens when u "endure" the fight with leo, do u still end up killing him?
@@southHWD There are two option if you"push" leo leo did not died just pass out after that you can visit carl again so both survive and if you "endure" leo alive but carl died so my opinion i choose push leo because after that both of them alive

How have i not heard of this game before today its like a movie. Its rare that you care about caracters in a game
definitely one of the most amazing and thrilling stories ive watched, ive only been watching gameplays and only this one to summerse it as a movie. a top favorite!

Any reason you didn't save the fish or cop in the Conor prologue
probably cause it has like no effect on the story
@@smolcaleb but fish and cop☹
The title specifically says “everyone lives” :(
@@smolcaleb it does. It increases Connor's software instability
@@youdononeetokno also, if you save the cop, there'll be a lil scene of the cop thanking you for saving his life at the tv station investigation part :D
finally the full good ending gameplay that everyone actually lives (especially carl, most of the so-called ‘good ending’ vids always let him died tho)
Best game practically turned into a movie that I have seen in a long time. All the twists and turns and adventures that lead to a positive future, despite all the hardships. Thank you for showing us this. 💜
This was a fantastic video! Thank you so much for uploading this!
deviants = true artificial intelligence
7:38:50 "Everyone Lives" I guess they are not counted as alive.
maybe those deaths aren’t avoidable? i haven’t actually played the game but it seem like some are needed to progress the story like at the beginning the guy with the little girl hostage
I didn't know there was a way to keep Kara alive without sacrificing anybody.
@@TonberryGames it only works if markus is protesting peacefully, otherwise it doesn't
If this was a movie, it would win so many damn awards.
I just feel like crying after a long time. Since 2 years, I never cried during the situations in my life where everyone thought I should have cried. Like my father's death for example. I never understood why i couldn't cry even when i wanted to but after watching this I just want to cry now. Was I feeling like a Human-robot before?
Life is very mysterious.
Thanks for the gameplay story though some decisions could've been different but great job!
I know it's a year. But I think it was only pent up emotion that leaked, happens to me sometimes.
@@yonakakurai1737 I kind of forgot this comment of mine.... Can't believe İ came a long way from last year. Thanks!!😇

Love your gameplay cuz everyone lives 😌😊👍
He didn't save fish and cop on rooftop, but almost best result for us
You can't have shit in Detroit, even the android leaves you
Then steals your clothes
Only if you are shit
I didn't really enjoy these type of game usually, but somethibg about DBH captures something that really makes it, different. 4 years later and I still finding myself watching DBH gameplays.
How is this game so damn beautiful
Every time I rewatch gameplay for this game I immediately want to go play it again. Funny enough, it never gets old.
Perfect run yet he didn’t save the fish at the beginning T-T

North: "I wonder what you'll do without me"
*literally did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING beneficial/good but is the only romantic interest*
4:24:38 That look of distress you can just feel what those two are in just that look, man that me got in the feels.
I will always treat Androids like living people and this is one of the many examples why.
Edit: Missing words
55:50 watching you try to go through the piano part as fast as possible and imagining the struggle with the controller made me laugh so much
I don't have a console or PC to play this game, and I want so badly to know the story behind the play! Thanks for giving the opportunity!
Thank you for this walkthrough!
Glad it was helpful!
Do you play as deviant Connor
Thank you for this walkthrough! Great game, though to stressful for me, but I really enjoyed the Movie! Touching stories, great people.. I always thought Androids will be better than us..
Glad you enjoyed it!
Nice walk through. 👍
dude this game makes me so emotional i love it so bad
6:00:03 that third quote did not age well 😬😬😬
Hey thank you for making this for us ❤️
It was awesome, thank you for the walkthrough!!
The only thing I didn’t like was that he didn’t save the fish
Edit: also not saving that officer at the beginning for me it’s the little things that matter for me the most
I love how in the title it says everyone lives yet people die anyway
AMHarbinger The “Sing” choice would’ve been better than “Kiss North” but since you chose that one I support your decision. Thank you for uploading this video from America 🇺🇸. ☺️☺️☺️☺️
The sing choice will end up depends on the public opinion, the kiss north option is a guaranteed win. But based on the gameplay, yes, singing is better
0:38. I really pure and continuously loved her beautiful voice!🥰🥰🥰
25:04. This female android standing on the left side of Marcus meaning if I was to choose and purchase her then I will give her a name Hannah. She is pure beautiful at high speed velocity!💙💙💙
Not everyone lived, the fish died
outstanding effort. What a great game!
This man really just left the fish on the ground at the beginning
"Everyone Lives!" **doesn't save the cop or the fish at the beginning of the game**
Connor is the best, hes my favorite, his story is most interesting to me, and hes like this advanced Robot and yet hes so child like in his personality, its like so innocent and it would be right, hes brand new. I like how you see the changes overtime, if you chose to become deviant which I did...and I did a couple play throughs but I always made Connor become a deviant I just hated the idea of it being out of his control.❤on my 3rd playthrough, I missed all the quick times in Kara's when shes crossing the road on purpose because I was so bored during her story and didn't want to play it again😂the whole robot wanting to be a mom feels overdone. Awesome walkthrough!❤
23:37 It's sad to know that the same people who rally about robots/androids taking people's jobs are also the same people who would complain about how hard their jobs are for sympathy or act entitled and self important towards people who work minimum wage
I sent cha the money because I loved watching Detroit Become Human all over again and yours was the best!⭐️
Is it just me or does that thing that takes carl up to paint his paintings look like the scooper from fnaf 5?

Connor is quite similar 2 Norman Jayden from Heavy Rain, only difference is he isn't fighting a drug addiction.
These two games are made by the same person. I wonder if that's intentional
I’m just mad because you didn’t save the fish at the beginning
