It was Kambunji!! Switzerland greatest EVER female sprinter! She’d go on the get a medal or two in the individual world championships! She was young back then

You could see it the way she reacted, letting the team down. But it does happen. You can have the most elite quartet but the baton exchanges is just as cruicial.

Asher Smith and Schippers are definitely top-notch legs of the relay. I could say that they determine the whole podium.
First L. is 90 m. and the 2 is 120 m, Probably it is better to give Schippers the 2 L for her better results in 200 m.

Out of all the European teams, the Swiss have improved the most. They used to be around 6 to 8 - now they're 2nd or 3rd best. They have two girls who can go sub 11 (Kambundji and del Ponte) and two than can go sub-11.20 (Kora and Atcho). Got 4th place at the world's at Doha in 2019.

Anybody noticed what happened to my Girlfriend Kambundji? it was sad and also very funny 😂😂😂😂😂 8:49 the Baton flee off her hand as soon as the Gun went leaving all the Swiss runners in Tears at the corners infront of Home crowd that was heart breaking. They would have definitely got a medal.

She's their fastest runner u usually put THAT runner in 2nd leg because it's technically the longest.

Haas, GER anchor, she must have a very long stride because her turnover is very fast.

10:17 I think that was Dafne Schippers' fault. She ran out too early and the incoming runner had trouble catching up to her to give her the baton. Very careless mistake. Actually, inexcusable at this level.

Kambundji deserves alot of credit b/c she has alot of potential to run something spectacular, but that anchor leg from Kora was atrocious at best.

If the NL can survive a Schippers retirement (3.5 years older than Asher Smith) and FRA, ITA, POL & UKR can produce good squads which I think they've had historically - & RUS is allowed to compete...
GER have a great team lately competing with SUI while GBR have been competing with JAM and USA - & their young team is improving every season; might Amy Hunt, 200m WJR in 2019 join the squad for the Olympics?
