it is left ambiguous because, like Cliff said to his wife, the ship can only be operated by two people. So the audience is left wondering if Cliff decides to kill David, and thus killing himself by leaving him as the sole pilot, or he decides to stay alive, albeit with a person that killed his family and who he despises. It’s not a stupid ending in my opinion. It leaves the audience hanging, which in some instances is the smart move.
@@TheLoneChemist that's exactly that fail how this is predictable and is only shock value (there is shock value, but there's a whole lot meaning and not pointless at all) a predictable ending would be David just taking over Cliff's replica completely while leaving Cliff for dead (but then he'll die if Cliff dies since the Gemini is a two-man ship that can't be operated solo)

I did not realize how much my life was lacking in Josh Hartnett until I saw this Black Mirror episode.
Fantastic work from all involved in this episode, really terrific. And another great interview, Jake. Much appreciated!
Man, Josh Hartnett is still reeeeeally good-looking. Wow.
Damn Josh❤😍😍😍

The ending was stupid beyond beliefe. SHock value just for the sake of shock value. Pointless ending. TERRIBLE!!!!
Yeah it didn’t make much sense. So he kills his family so they’re equal and now they can live happily ever after in their space cruise? Like what?
