Awesome video Nick! Thanks for including Taiwanese food in your video! (I am Taiwanese) By the way that mochi at the end was Hakka styled Mochi, and the powder they covered it in was peanut, sesame and sugar.
Nick and the gang should honestly come here to India just to go around the country having different types of delicacies we have here. Nick would definitely geek out when he sees how a Rumali Roti is made and Cug would definitely gush over all the street food available here. Also, he has to try the Jhinga/Tandoori Prawns or Tandoori Lobster from Peshawari given his love for seafood.
Great Video! To think I could get stuff like all of this for a dollar, this is awesome! I am however disappointed that only Indian dish you saw was Pav Bhaji! There are various more great under dollar food in India like Samosa , Vada Pav , Chole Kulcha, Kachori , Tea , Dosa etc. And a lot of local foods as well. You get a 1kg worth of some of the best banana under Rs.30 in most of parts of India.
Almost all of street food in india is under 100 rupees. For hundred rupees I can get 30 pieces of Pani puri A masala dosa A couple of Vadapav Pav Bhaji Missal pav Chhola bhatura A couple of plates of Chaat Tummy full of biriyani A plate of Chilli potatoes A couple of Spring rolls Tummy full of Veg Kebabs with rumali roti A couple of Idli A nice and savoury uttapam And the list just never ends... India is a heaven for people who love tasty food + most of the dishes are vegetarian. For me personally, The South Indian cuisine is THE BEST compared to all the others, On the same level as Italian Cuisine. It is God's gift to humanity, the most exalted thing beheld by my tongue, EVER 😭😭. Thank you, Southern Ancestors, Thank you 😭🙏.
9:50 that is peanut powder that they roll the mochi in and there's people who sells the none peanut version just switch it up with some sesame powder!😀
3:55 this is what we call Guo Kui, 锅盔,in China. The one with Mei gan cai (a preserved veggie that is usually left to spoil for some days, but the taste is SO good it's unbelievable.) is the best flavor you can find all around and is usually charged dirt price.
In India you'll get Chola Kulcha/Bhatura, Vada Pav, Dosa, Idli, Rolls(Chicken rolls as well), Potato Chat, Pani Puri etc. Like seriously, in just $1 you're in for a treat!
We like to use bags because these street foods attracted the attention fo students and young workers and since they are so busy, it is very convenient for them to take food on the go. These street foods are usually very popular before and after school or midnight, and what we like to do is try a bit of everything on the streetfood market so we eat and we go.
I'm just here for watching the India is in the list or not. I love your videos Nick. Come to India and enjoy very delicious food over here. Under the $1 u get the very delicious food and full of taste. Love you Nick.
Given that there are more than 25,000 outlets that can loosely be classified as “restaurants”, a common strategy by technology companies has been to try to document a significant portion of the market; offering dining options, menus, locations, even tips on what to eat.
In indonesia especialy yogyakarta, if ypu go to mas kobis you can get a portion of rice, fried chicken, sambal, and ice tea for around 1 dollar (19.000 idr)
The title is "All around the world" and more than half the video is just you guys talking about Chinese-writing countries. Truly "all around the world" indeed.
Seriously though if you’re considering visiting Tokyo now is the time, due to the exchange rate shenanigans going on. I can’t even afford to go back to Shanghai! (kind of)

Infact you can eat an entire day of food Just for $ 1 or $ 2.

Hi
love the vids by the way❤❤❤
As an Indian who lives in Mumbai I am confused that they did not cover Vada pav but they covered pav bhaji.
They were convering what they can get in 1 dollar. You can get Vada pav for 20 rupee lol. Pav Bhaji was a good option.
vada pav will be like 15-20 at most bro, they were taking only 1 dollar
Then what about the ones that are like 25 cents
India also has pani puri all over and paniyaram in the south you could have an entire meal with dessert in the south if you use money wisely

I'm guessing the original video wanted to have 1 dish/snack close to 1 dollar so. Which makes sense because Pav Bhaji is from 60 to 100 rupees so.
