Hello I just acquired a 79 B210, it runs ,but needs some work done to it. I want to improve the exhaust and suspension. I will be following your journey.
That Datsun was more than likely in Oregon at some point. Canby is a Datsun event that happens every year in Canby Oregon. It's likely it was there one year.
Yo fella I love it! Who cares if it doesn't have a great 0-60 time( eyeroll).... I've done this a few times in my life and I dig this little car, keep going! Lawn mower air filter. ?
Why the hell would you buy a B210?!? I owned one. They were horrible. Mine was the stick version and I still couldn't hit 60 mph in under 20 seconds. Mine was brown, so we called it Dusty the Datsun. If you used your handbrake properly, you could load it sideways into a snowbank, flip over onto the roof (or sometimes side), and slide out across the lake. Then, you and your friends could just flip it back over and wait 30 minutes for the oil to settle back into the engine before you took off again. Seriously, as a car collector and a true lover of all things automotive, set this shit on fire and be happy for the heat. You'll get nothing good from it.
@@stuiesgarage Alright, wait until you build it out and see how horrible it really is. Or, you could just read some reviews from the time. We did have some fun with it as late tens, but it's truly a horrible car. Good luck with your project!
Dont believe this nonsens. I own a 120y sedan automatic wich i restored myself. My ed6cation is a atomotive engeneer and in my spare time i value classic cars for a insurance company and in thath capacity have driven a lot of its competitars of his eara and can surley say that the Datsuj was among the best of its class and defenitly the best small automatic, so dont be put of and restore this beatiful car and enjoy it.
The liftback was my 1st Datsun... I want to find one
Amazing find! I have always wanted a B210 but ended up taking home an 88 VW Fox last weekend. Liftbacks and wagons are the best!
Thanks for taking us along

Wow this is not an easy find!
Can I guess what's inside? Sand, lots of sand?
Yes, so much sand! You’ll see in a future episode.
I just got a 74 that needs some work
B210? Pretty sure these were badged as Datsun 120Y for 1200cc or 140Y for 1400cc in UK, South Africa and Europe.
Badges say B210 GX
