- Out for a run witht the OG Arrma Talion 6s! This is my old V3 that has been ran and ran again! Over the years it has become my favorite rig for it's speed, handing and flight! Totally M2C'd and running stock OG BLX electonics, Its still the King! She got some of the biggest floaters Ive ever had! In the end part was a mixed rig bash with my Buddy Jonah and his Bigrock 3s. I ran my Fireteam 6s and Infraction 3s. Thanks for watching!

I was really surprised by the durability of the Talion. For whatever reason I was under the impression this was more of a race style buggy than a basher but it's been damn reliable

Man have you tried the mew max8 g2 2250kv? It is a beast. I just put one in my kraton xl. 6.8" d boot backflips with 15 tooth pinion. It rips! I can stay hard on the throttle for a whole 30 min run with 2 9000mah 3s lipos and my temp got as high as 140 on the motor and 115 on the esc. It also performs exactly like a max6 just weighs much less. Hobbywing crushed it. If you havent experienced it yet, give it a try. Itd be perfect for your style of driving. I just cant believe that it can match the max6 power, weigh less, and stay cooler. Its like the dream combo

I love the fact that it’s a older model that’s held up to serious beat downs that m2c chassis an braces holding together perfectly with out a tower to tower I try to tell people you don’t even really need a towers to tower with m2c an this is proof…. Thanks for another EPIC videos Eric

The talion v3 was and still is also my favorite rig to date. I will say I did build a hybrid talion/kraton v3 and it was the best basher I've ever run. Balanced and fast. Great bash man!!!

I'm running stock shafts on the Talion. Most other heavier 6s rigs run M2C shafts!💪

great bash...im on my way to revamp my talion...pretty much stock ,,plan to reduce the slapping/bottoming with 3000cst shockfluid...hope it works.
You actually want chassis slap on jumps or you will damage other parts but all you can do is experiment!
@@RCDUDE81 yea i know that its not a good thing to totally eliminate the chassis slap..i just want to lessen it...since the shock like too soft and the rebound is too light till it bounces off the ground when it lands....but as u said..experiment...thanks..

Been viewing your channel for a while now finally making the decision to buy the Talion. What electronic upgrades do you recommend for maximum performance/ what gear for max speed?
Well as you can see mine is running pretty ballistic with a stock system with a 20 tooth pinion. Just watch temps. Other options would be a Max 8 or 6 with a 40 size 2000ish kv motor. Luckily it's a light rig so stock does rip if geared up.😎👊
Hey RCDUDE81, question about your Talion. Have you ever landed badly on the rear and the 4 screws get pulled out of the rear diff housing...causing the rear suspension to be held only by the rear centre brace...the screw which holds the rear centre brace to the chassis then gets pulled through the chassis, damaging the chassis? Only upgrades I have are M2c chassis, M2c rear centre brace. and custom upgrade rear skid plate. Thanks for advice.
get some hot racing diffcases is will keep screws from getting ripped out and save your diffs too

What’s your go to servo for 1/8 1/10 scale trucks & truggys for bashing what servo have you found to be budget friendly fast & durable like I’m willing to spend up to $200 also do you run any external power servo’s on your rig’s if so do you generally just run them off your esc
All I use is Power HD 23kg servo's for bashing. They are usually $39 on Ebay and Amazon. Been using them for years. They aren't the fastest but they are tough and hold up to extreme bashing!

@@RCDUDE81 I have the exb braces and the hotracing wing mount . On a bad crash the hot racing wind ended up twisting itself and the rest of the tower. I've bent it back into place and have installed the rpm rear wing mount. Will also place the m2c chassis and towers as you've mentioned.
