I ordered a strat style HSS August '24. As a mid level guitarist I'm not super concerned about paint imperfections but want a good playing guitar. Enjoyed your review.
I had one. I actually like the way the nut is cut on the edges, you never feel it. The weight was really good, I didn’t weigh it, it just wasn’t a real heavy les Paul, IMHO. The pickups were amazing sounding. Mine had a natural finish and I think it had abalone binding, a bit gawdy and I really don’t like gold hardware but not a huge deal. I got mine to look pretty nice by removing the pickguard. Very nice 60’s feeling neck carve and the setup was really good. The big problem for me was the edges of the fingerboard - the edges were too “not rolled” for me so I always had the sensation that I was going off a cliff. I had the opposite problem, but still a problem, with a Sire T3 and its “edgeless” neck. Neither of these guitars had neck edges that felt like a Gibson or a Fender, respectively. I wish I would have known of a guitar tech who could have rolled the edges a little bit on my AOI. I didn’t care if the binding got scratched up or anything to do this, and like I said, the guitar tone was killer. Maybe mine was an anomaly. I’m tempted to try another one, thanks for the review. Btw, I read somewhere that they are made in Vietnam, but I’m probably wrong and it doesn’t matter anyway.
AIO are my favorite bang for your buck brands. I got an old Wolf model Les Paul with the wolf howling at the moon head stock and paw prints on the neck. I also own a AIO SG and a AIO Tele and a Wolf Tele. Both Tele’s have a neck through construction. Great playing guitars all of them. I really like them. With that, both Tele’s have finish issues. That aren’t that bad. Luckily my LP has no issues and looks fantastic. I highly recommend them although my American Fender Strat HSS is my #1.
The nibs on a Les Paul I find don't really do much. And the only problem is is that if you play the guitar all the time and you need to get it refretted I mean I'm a very good luthier and I know other people and no matter how careful you are eventually you're going to break one...
They will set the action up for your exact specs if you ask them to. No extra charge including string size and intonated. Also Free shipping in the lower 48. I think I'm going to buy one. Not sure right now. Getting rid of my dream guitar soon because It's getting worth to much. It's into 5 digits and it will never leave my house again. The only other current guitars I have are a Nashville deluxe tele, older one with brass saddles and an early MIJ Fender tele which is now obviously a vintage model also. I can buy a few great guitars and still put 9 or 10 in my pocket then it's off to the amp room which is has Vintage Music man, Fender in it. So many great choices out there under a grand these days it is incredible. It's going to blow up eventually.
I’ve got 4 AIO guitars, every single one was totally worth much more than they’re charging. I HIGHLY recommend them. As a lefty, they definitely accommodate with MOST styles being available left handed.
I have 2 one aio and one wolf ,They are great and hold up one 2019 0ne is 2020 ,I play them alot and they have very little fret wear,They stay in tune better than most .The headstock pitch Is not too far back like Gibsons ,Maybe why it stays in better tune,My Wlp and sc 77 had no finish issues .I did add coil splitting and put in dimarzio super distortions ,Not because I had to ,They are just my favorite pickups. You cant go wrong with A I O products .Looks like they are built to last too.
Just heard of this brand recently. The AIO LP copy's on their website look to have a bound neck and abalone on both neck and body binding and the headstock shape is different. They look awesome but it makes me wonder what I would get of I ordered one. I think I'll hold on to my Agile 3100. It's also a great guitar(albeit very heavy) and I'm not sure if the AIO would be an upgrade. Are the AIO's heavy? I also have an Epiphone LP and it's lighter, probably because it's a maple veneer instead of a 1/4 inch solid cap like the Agile.
Two more questions if you're up for it: 1) Between this AIO LP and the Firefly budget guitar you reviewed, which would you recommend? 2) Do these guys know they are sending their guitars to you to be reviewed publicly? Maybe they're getting an extra inspection before they ship to you? Oh no, that's three questions.
I would put the fact that this guitar comes with a very good set up. Better materials than epiphone. And let's face we're going to change pickups even on the epiphone. However, I think the AIO pickups sound better than epiphones. The pot are better on the epiphone. The tuners are better on the epiphone. But I have to say, since I got this AIO I definitely want to play it more than the epiphone epiphone
AIO are good guitars but the issue I have is you don't always get what they claim to give. I've seen many reviews where people had fret buzz and finish flaws which is strange because the owner sets them up and ships them out. This guitar should have been sold at a discount with all the flaws pointed out before the sale in my opinion. That's not to deter anyone from buying one they are solid guitars.
@@TheMixWithABD Wow what an insult. Send that thing back and check out EART guitars, they are by far the best budget guitar you can get. Great video dude good luck with the channel.
Ordered my AIO 335 today. 8/30/24. Delivery in November. I am 69 and pawned my Gibson 335 in LA trying to compete in music in the 70s. I have always wanted another but the price was stupid. Now I am back to my Lee Rit and Carlton roots. So i am really exited. My $6000 les paul from the custom shop had flaws. I will let ya all know. Asia here we come again
I received my AIO TC1 Dark Walnut neck through Tele last week and it is perfect, I love it, it cost me a little more as I had to have it shipped to the UK, $100 shipping and 22.5% VAT and import duty in total. Not having a neck block means it is super comfortable when playing at the dusty end, I wish they did an LP in neck through! I wont be buying any Gibson guitars again, I have a couple of old Les Pauls and ordered another LP in 2017 it had major issues and went back, the replacement was even worse, that went back and the third came and was much better but they sent the wrong guitar, I got a refund!
I have a purple one with gold hardware. I replaced all electronics and put in Jimmy Page wiring and Seymour Duncan Whole Lotta Humbuckers with gold strings. It is about $1000. It is great and I play it everyday. However, my Gibson Les Paul Classic is better. It is $2400 though.
I love this video and many of your others. AIO is a very overlooked brand that makes a decent product for the pride they ask. It isnt perfect, but price points exist for a reason. Cant afford a custom shop Gibson? This is a more affordable viable substitution. I may be ordering one somewhat soon.
If your spending more than 1k for a guitar you just want that particular guitar. AIO is one of the better budget brands and definitely compete with others that are 10x the price.
also heard Korea too.... Ordered my first yesterday...a lefty TC4 (Tele)....Jin, owner, is super responsive and attentive. Can't wait to get it. Got a bunch of other low to high end Tele to do a compare... and a few boutique Tele pup sets to experiment with.
Since they supposedly do a stellar setup and quality control in California, how do the finish issues get through their top notch inspection? As I understand it, their quality control and setup is the thing that sets them apart. Anybody in that job ( inspector) would have plainly seen the boo boos
These guitars are overpriced. You can buy a Epiphone for just a little bit more. Unlike, these the Epiphone will have a decent resale value. There's no way I'm going to pay over $400.00 for a knock off Les Paul
I'm leaving another comment for the Algorithm. Soon your channel will be huge and you won't need comments like this so hang in there.
That really means a lot to me
Dollar for dollar AIO guitars are the best! I have 2 of them and a third on the way.
I keep hearing good things about these guitars, I might have to get one.

South Korea actually

what kind of jacket is that lol i want one its dope

That thing would look even better with cream pickups.
💯🤘
Im thinking of actually putting white pickups in it

Straight white in my opinion is gonna look a bit off.
