So they already made a cosmetic using a mechanic that makes you want to spend the entire 170 dollars due to sunk cost from hoping to get lucky in previous rolls... and instead of making it cheaper and allow people to take just one class, they remove features from new ones and make you pay EVEN MORE to get the full features AND they will probably take those away too after 30 days and make you pay for full battle pass to keep them... I kinda want this cosmetic for my demon hunter but seeing just how much they are trying to milk us for more and more money turns me off and makes me tell myself I should just be playing a different game where they don't constantly look for ways to milk the players for more and more money for each cosmetic, I can play WoW where I can make my character look however I want and I just pay a sub fee. This entire patch made me decide to play Diablo Immortal less and focus back on World of Warcraft instead and avoid all spending in Diablo Immortal, maybe only battle pass because I see what the developers think of me with this patch.
honestly I cant really make out details of the cosmetics in-game even on my laptop screen. For the amt of money just to see a glob of glow is really not worth while, I usually find it too distracting and turn off the additional effects as well so....
As I mentioned earlier, it's not worth it for regular people to get this skin unless they plan to make videos with it and share them so others can see it. Alternatively, it might make sense for someone who has a lot of money to spare. However, I recommend not spending on it.
Blizzard has taken the concept of microtransactions to a whole new level. I honestly admit that I would never have dreamed of these other ways of milking even more money from players. I have to admit that they are very creative in this. It's just a shame that only in this they are....
