Even a refrigerator motor running at 32 degrees would be warmer than Canada! Lol! John, maybe that's the joke? They need to warm up the inside of the container because Canada is normally freezing cold! Lol Roy
I've seen one of those pink well cars in a passing train a few weeks ago. Should of taken a photo. Oh, and it's nice that Rapido added the right turn warning label...that no one pays attention to!

No sir. It is what you think it is, but I didn't buy it, as it's not even out yet. The box behind me in the video is the "Deco" sample Athearn got from the factory recently. It will be the subject of an upcoming Product Spotlight program. I was wondering if anyone would notice it back there. You did not disappoint! This is why I say I have the best viewers on TH-cam!
I don't think those are reefers, actually, IIRC when these were announced Jason said they were Drybox heaters adn given the cold weather CN and many other canadian railroads run through it would make sense to keep them warm inside
Ahhhh if that's the case, my mistake! I'm not quite a legitimate container foamer. I was using the idea that they might be reefers to justify my "clever" comment about Rapido's models being cool. :))

The paint on the rapido containers seem to be based on Via Rail colors

Heard that 1 guy bought almost all of the units from Rapdio and has been slowly selling them on ebay making a killing.

Containers weren't random. I ordered all 18 cars in the run and I only got 6 container schemes and numbers for all 36 possible containers
Rapido said the selection of containers included in the TTX model were chosen randomly.
