When you start letting people in your life, they are the people that hurt you the most, so staying to yourself professionally keeps you focused on winning + stay off social media.
You definitely seems focused but i think if she can improve her mental game then she will be a force to reckon with. That will happen with experience. Each year she’ll get better and better. But yes stay is social media. I v agree 👍🏼
If she would've won the WTA Finals & the Gold Medal that is about a great a year as you could possibly have without winning a major. I think she's on the cusp of winning a grand slam, maybe in 2025!
Dirty player. Look how she delays her serve. Trying to unsettle her opponents. The Sominex rule should be enforced on her. Bounce, bounce, bounce, bounce, bounce.........
Sabalenka and Badosa are besties and they hate playing each other. Fritz hated playing Tiafoe in the US Open semifinals. And even Medvedev said he doesn’t like to play his friend Rublev.
Maybe but she is ice cold 🥶 on handshakes especially when she loses. It doesn’t matter what her nationality is. I think she’ll mature in a fews. She is ultra competitive as most tennis players are. She is definitely talented!
Zheng is no ordinary tennis player, actually she is extremely ambitious, more than what people expect, that's why she act more focus on dedication, she thought being friendly with other female players would make make her loosing her killer instinct, it might sound ridiculous to you but this is her personality 😂.
No I get it! If I was a professional tennis player I wouldn’t want to make friends either because then you lose your edge. You are right age is fierce and doing what she needs to do to win.
Definitely the second two. Her Professionalism is questionable 🤨 but she will mature. She’s going to have some growing pains, but she is definitely good for the sport and for Chinese tennis.
She herself pronounces her name as Kin. Listen to her. She wants her name pronounced as Kin-wen. But yes I know the Q in chinese should sound like Ch. Thanks for watching!
I like Zheng, I understand if she's quiet and not making any friends in locker rooms, that's cool. But, at least, I hope she greets other players, you know making eye contacts and saying "hi".
First of all, she's a rising tennis star. Everything else is just by-product of her great achievement. I firmly believe that she would hoyfully make friends should there be any enjoyable friendship urged during her tennis carrier. But she does not have any obligation to respect anybody else if she's not respected by any rival on the court.
As I said before in my comments. All she need is to hit the ball in not aim at the line.Try to practice Tee service. Once you over or under serve at the Tee adjust your position and reserve. From there she will know how much adjustment she needs. More practice on her backhand return she will have all she needs to play. MISSION Slam title for 2025 is on your sleeve.Keep playing with power serve and return. More gym work to build up muscle power.
In fact she should have won the final.Second set she was 3 up. Something have shifted her less aggressive respond led Coco to come back. This match will make her a better player.Watch out 2025 her mission to overcome Sabalenka,Coco and more win against IGA. Navarro can make as much bad comments against Queen Wen will not gain her advantage. Less see the rematch to decide Navarro attitude.
There’s a lot to like. I just hope she learns better sportsmanship and shakes hands with her opponents respectfully. She’s very competitive and that’s great and I think she will mature in a few years.
Queenwen had Gauff in the WTA Finals, She should’ve been the champ which would have been an incredible feat for her. Coco pulled it off though. So close for Zheng but impressive by Gauff!
Very impressive, Gauff has really turned her season around by winning the WTA Finals. We were one of the first to call for a coaching change. I saw her from the front row at Indian Wells this year and she was awful to Brad Gilbert. That was in March, and right then and there I knew she needed to make a change. Great season by Qinwen though for sure! More to come from her next season and Coco!
Come on, learn how to pronounce her name, at least try a little. "Kinwen Zang" is nothing like it. She says "Kinwen" sometimes as a joke and because it's not that important to her as mispronunciation of her name happens so often. There are native speakers on the net who demonstrate her correct pronunciation. And yes, I'm a native speaker of Mandarin whose surname is ... Zheng.
She goes by Kinwen. Search on TikTok and you will see her say her own name. That’s how she pronounces her name. Zheng I could probably pronounce it closer to zhung. Take life a little easier. Try not to get so worked up and offended about everything. You’ll be happier. Thanks for watching!
@@TennisTenacity-cq7dg Oh, c'mon, her name's not "Kinwen", she says that sometimes for westerners! TikTok is not a place to rely on anything. Do some decent research and find out the way she actually says it for real, the way we all say it in China, including Qinwen herself. There's a TH-cam video somewhere where a group of tennis players from several nationalities actually say their names for real, and Qinwen is among them (it might be under the WTA listed videos). Alternatively, you could look at a Chinese news source or interview with Qinwen in Chinese where her name is referred to. Doesn't matter that you can't speak Mandarin, you'll hear her name announced. If you want to develop your channel and be taken seriously you need to be professional enough to pronounce names correctly. It shows respect. Otherwise, why bother having a channel.
isn't time for the sports commentator to learn how to pronounce her name probably ! It is not Kin-wen ...........the Q in China is pronounced CHI. However, DIVA is a proper term for her.
@@TennisTenacity-cq7dg Well, you can try Google translate or ask a Chinese person from China. My wife is such a person. Many people figured it's easier for foreigners to say so they leave it. Possibly she’s pretty guarded and she may eventually feel isolated but tennis singles is a lonely sport. The days before teams with coaches and physio’s and this coach and that coach were days when the player was all alone with no support. It’s kind of why tennis was amazing in the 70s 80s and 90s. Like when Djokovic congratulates the opponents team. It sounds wrong every time.
@@hull2354 Geez that sentence didn't read very well. What I was saying is players used to be on their own with no team. It sounds wrong to me because tennis is such an individually sport that the team only has so much to do with the actually win on the court.
No. She is world no: 5 as of November 2024. That's as far as she will get. Media hype is pushing her into a sort of fame. But her unsportsmsnlike behaviour is hard to like. No one expects her to be friendly but her limp handshakes after losing show bratty behaviour. Look at Alcaraz, Sabalenka and many others and their attitudes. She may be inspiring but l hope her behaviour is not emulated. The commentator is just making excuses for her. Bratty behaviour don't go far. Look at Krygios.

Most people avoid "friendships" on the job and prefer to keep a polite distance.
Smart!!
Zheng has had quite a year. I thought she was going to take home the WTA Finals title along with her gold medal. Tough loss but she’s sticking around!

Qinwen has had a remarkable career and the fact that she wants no friends inside of the WTA circles will be interesting to watch.
Hopefully she doesn't alienate herself too much. That can be a lonely feeling. Everyone needs friends.
Zheng is a true Diva on and off the courts. She's making her own success let's celebrate her❤
Totally I think she’s great but the other women on the tour don’t feel the same. She’s cold 🥶 as ice 🧊

She’s only getting better and once she figures out that serving motion and gets some more match experience for her mental game she’ll be right there.

For those interested, the letter "Q" is pronounced like a lazy "ch" sound.
Qin becomes chin, but go very light on the "ch" sound. Hope this helps. ❤❤❤
