So do we need to book dummy tickets just before the date of appointment? if it is valid for 72 hrs only, what if it is not valid till the final verification?
The money spent on buying the dummy ticket....does it come back partially / fully after 2 weeks? I'm guessing the 1000 odd rupees is fully gone as charges to the website?
If PNR is checked then it's at Embassy! At VFS they don't validate it. For dummy tickets, the tickets are valid till date of travel. However, do confirm once at their Indian helpline number.
for the first method: Dummy Ticket, How we can select or be sure of its validity, to know whether it is 72Hrs or 2weeks valid?? How to know that before paying money?
Could you please help.....im planning a trip to Austria.....if our family friend over there are willing to sponsor our trip, do we still need to show a certain bank balance? Also if both parents and me are travelling together, does everyone need to show a seperate minimum balance in their accounts?
Usually for Schengen visa, sponsorship from immediate family members (parents/siblings) works the best. In case of getting a sponsorship, you will have to include financial proof of the person sponsoring your trip with sufficient bank balance. Along with that get the sponsorship letter as well from them to be attached with application. Since application for each member would be separate, every application should have financial proof (bank statement or sponsorship). Hope this helps!

Ideally yes, you should book your dummy flight tickets close to appointment date. You can opt for longer period dummy tickets.

Yes, you're right. The amount you pay is like the service fee that you would pay.
Very Informative! What's the validity of these tickets? PNR is checked at VFS global or when all documents go to Embassy?

You can reach out to their support number mentioned on the site for validity! They are responsive.

Yes the PNR generated is verifiable for the said duration!
You are suggesting illegal options
No we aren't! Mentioned that some folks do edit and we recommend not doing it.
