Joe is a truly gifted DM. I love Troy, Brennan Lee Mulligan and Matt Mercer but god damn is Joe enjoyable to watch. So smooth, atmospheric, detailed without being boring and just fun.
I really loved this season, Joe does a great job of helping the team along. The inside scoop / table talk at the beginning of this episode was really refreshing to see in an actual play series. Great work all!
Amazing job Joe, Troy, Francis, Sydney, Skid! I already can't wait for the next part. I particularly love the ideas and hooks the players are giving Joe for the what comes next in Impossible Landscapes. Some juicy fastballs to knock out of the park. For more details see page 347. ;)
The boons of having a GM in your player group. That last scene with Roger was AMAZING. (And SKID! Huzzah.) This whole cast is incredible. I love Bobby, and Sydney's RP is extra-amazeballs. Can't wait for the next chapter.
I had the same idea Syd had when trying to suppress this unholy urge of drawing the yellow sign in front of her workmate. The entire scene was just great! 😊
I loved every ending scene, they were all brilliant. But Roger's leaves so many QUESTIONS that they can answer next season. Was that wedding in his imagination? If it was at least partially real, did he marry Vicky or Norma? AHHHHHH. Can't wait for next season, you guys rock.
It takes a lot of time to make these damn things! We'll be back as soon as we can and you can rest easy knowing that we'll definitely be RECORDING before late next year.
Honestly Joe should publish a book called "So you want to run impossible landscapes?" I just want to know everything about the behind the scenes. Both like from a Handlers standpoint but also from the players. So good.
Thanks, Nicole! So happy to have you here for the journey. This really needs to be a TV show. Aaand we can neither confirm nor deny Francis's involvement in a domestic intelligence agency.
Thank you guys!! Joe, Troy, Francis, Sydney & Skid really thank you!! You kept me company for weeks, amazing RP and storytelling everybody! Can't wait for the next season!! Keep up the good work GCN!!
The post-credits scene that Joe relayed was one of the best examples of storytelling I have seen. Amazing job, Joe. I felt like I was in a good John Carpenter film.
Since Time for Chaos is on a break I’ve been binge watching Get In the Trunk! It’s been a wonderful show. Thank you. I know this happened like a year ago, but the one piece of evidence I feel the players didn’t do much investigation on, is the very first piece. The occult symbol that had something to do with demonology. That symbol has to have more significance, and may have helped raise the vail on what was actually going on. Unfortunately, no further investigation was conducted on the thing. It would have been interesting to see what would have come of that information. Just my 2 cents.
What a ride this has been! I feel like I've been spoiled, binging first Time for Chaos and then Get in the Trunk straight after. How will I go on from here?! Top tier actual plays, top tier players, top tier keepers. These are must watch shows for anyone in love with TTRPGs!
I totally thought neil was going to go into the building mid inferno enter the night floor and become the next king. The whole past couple episodes have had me thinking neil was going to go insane and go into the party and learn he's the new to be crowned king
GCN puts out amazing stuff, but Impossible Landscapes is one that was made for rewatching. Joe ran such a believable campaign with such amazing visual elements, pacing and NPCs. Francis, Skid, Syd and Troy all created such perfect 90's agents, steeped in the world and played with such depth they should all be up for the TTRPG equivalent of Oscars. You joke that it should be a TV series, but is it a joke? Because I can imagine watching this on the couch with my older brother, who warns me I might get nightmares, but I'd watch anyways. I even work in an industry centered around horror and scary stuff, and this (even the second time through!) gives me the heebie jeebies. Twin Peaks, True Detective, Shutter Island, Inception, Rosemary's Baby.... and Delta Green: Impossible Landscapes. Bravo everyone. Can't wait for the next chapter. 👏👏👏
Haven't watched your channel much. But I had fun with this. Really interested on how this will continue having played a version of Impossible Landscapes. Loved the characters. Good luck Agents.
Thanks so much, Ookami! If you'd like to check out more Delta Green, we have 4 different operations we've done in the past available on Patreon for $5. The first one (and the introduction of Roger Cumstone), can be found here: www.patreon.com/posts/new-game-who-dis-36329368 And if you'd just looking for another show to check out on TH-cam, the start of our Call of Cthulhu playthrough of Masks of Nyarlathotep can be found here: th-cam.com/video/CQA7UBWi7Y8/w-d-xo.html
What a great season and you guys really stuck the landing! I love how much the characters change over these 18 episodes! Didn't expect the romance but thoroughly enjoyed it. Props to Syd and Troy for for actually having the balls to do it! If I could roll a 50/50 for either puking or boning, I would 😂 Excited to start S5!
Broadalbin is about 45 minutes west of Saratoga Springs. You haven't heard of it because, broadly speaking, it is unremarkable. I know because it's about 10 minutes from my house. Also, I was born in Providence, RI, but now live in Providence, NY.
I wanted to see the superintendent square off against Roger in an epic battle for the finale as niel crowns himself King and then all hell would break loose
Great job, everyone. Very fun run. Going up against the King in Yellow is essentially a death sentence for any group of characters, so I'm dreading what happens to our heroes in the follow-on books, but also can't wait to see it. This campaign is a real meat-grinder. I was expecting a post-credit scene with Agent Marcus and the tracker leading Roger to wherever that guy is holed up so we could get some insight into what he's actually up to. Having gone through the campaign already, I know what the book says about him, but hearing Joe's unique spin on it -hopefully next season- will be sweet. Everyone was excellent, as usual, but damn, Troy and Skid are hilarious in this and Joe's ability to improv NPCs on the fly that are immediately recognizable and believable is impressive. Syd was awesome; she sounded and acted like my full Italian cousins from NYC (minus the creeping insanity) mixed with a bit of Adriana from The Sopranos. Getting Euro-mobsters involved through Francis should be interesting, assuming the nephew becomes something in the future, perhaps as an asset for a Deputy Station Chief "Makeshift". It might be fun, if other players/PCs are introduced to have a foreign spy in America recruited into Delta green that has to run as a double agent while also undercover in The Program, perhaps even as a member of a foreign equiv to DG deliberately involving themselves to stop the threat of Hastur in America from spreading to Europe and beyond, so they'd have like four identities to keep track of and couldn't actually trust anyone.
Creepiest TTRPG show I have seen or heard, but with plenty of laughs. Well done, all. We've been dancing with... Roger Cumstone... He won't leave us alooooonnneee....
2:23:02 fun fact, the song "no children" by the mountain goats was written because the lead singer hated that song, so instead of "i hope you dance" its "i hope you die, i hope we both die"
I previously made a comment that was pretty rude to one of the players. I'm sorry I said what I said; there was no excuse for it and it was a shitty opinion. I was wrong. Everyone has done a fantastic job creating this story together, and I absolutely love this series. I'm sure it'll only get better, and I'm rooting for every one of the Glass Cannon crew!! ♡
@@TheGlassCannon that and intimate encounters were my introduction to your channel. Seen the hooverville Cthulhu 5ep.. looking for Delta green and Cthulhu, but perhaps I'll check out your Pathfinder content.
Glad joe reminded them all that they are the tools of a much larger operation. Troy and Sydney have been acting like Jason Bourne from the start. There's protocols and a chain of command that should be followed. Noice.
Everyone is amazing. Joe is an incredible handler. Troy as Cumstone is rediculous and hilarious but also has a depth that surprised me, I love his delivery of Roger's lines. Syd as Vickie, my god girl, you're brilliant. I love the emotion in your RP. Francis as Bobby is great, a CIA Serpico already dealing with stress in his job and taking on this task more secret and deadly than even the Russian spies. And Skid, holy shit my dude. I love Dr Neal, you play him so well with a subtlety and wit. His artistic obsession with the unnatural made him so unexpectedly interesting and dangerous. Just a brilliant season and I can't wait for the next one.
Can’t we just stay in the trunk a little longer
Shocking how great it is in the trunk.
Can't get kicked out if you never leave!

"Vicki finds a new guy, and he's even BIGGER! And even MORE bizarre and irrational!"
I can’t be the only one that thought Murnow had murdered his mom is that room
When you're counting on Roger for grounding you know you've hit bottom.
This is one of the best things the GCN has ever put out. The Neil RP with his friend was just brilliant. Skid & Joe smashed it.
Joe has done such a great job of constantly creeping them all out and keeping them off balance. Kudos to him (and McD, behind the scenes)!
Thanks, James!
"I love NASCAR and Confederate flags. I would love to go to upstate New York" 😆 Skid def on a roll this stream
THIS. WAS. PHENOMENAL. ! Roger's closing scene and Neil's bonus! Job well done, can't wait for the next season.
Binged 18 eps across 2 1/2 days of work. Could not stop listening. Troy, that ender was one of the greatest bits of RP ever recorded.
Roger's ending: LITERALLY GAVE ME GOOSE BUMPS
Just binge-watched the entire season. Remarkable work! So much there. Thrilled to move to season 5!
Thatnks! Season 5 is a WILD ride!

Hahaha! Thanks, Donnie. We'll keep Joe busy swinging at fastballs. He'll connect with one now and then... ;)
i assume Fransis had to move cuz the FBI caught his search history of looking up how to make a C4 out of non suspicious materials
I'm very sad this is the finale because I want more.
So do we. *sad face* So do we...
Its a campaign. There is a LOT more to come. Probably just next season.
I love how they hate Agent Marcus, but to me he seems like the nicest npc they have met XD
Sandy at New York City Hall Commercial Records Dept. is the nicest NPC they have met.
Yea lol, just super paranoid.

Joe KILLED it with the final scene!
What a cliffy!
This group is so good. Top notch work by Joe. Can’t wait for more GITT. More proof of GCPs excellence. Please don’t let it ever end

I've been gming for decades and IL is an intimidating campaign, so impressed with Joe's work on this
Brilliant closing scenes! Also gotta love the Glass Cannon's TM camera angles in aural storytelling. What a ride.

And thus concludes another binge session, can't wait to see more Delta Green, great game system and amazing Cast as always, 2023 gonna be LIT
