I grew up here (Live Oak Elementary, Rockport/Fulton junior high). Dad captained a barge out of CC Bay and played music at night at my grandfathers bar. Great times riding dirt bikes all over the beach, swimming in the saltwater pond, festivals at the band shell. Great memories!
I have had My place 10 years, Harvey was the only big hurricane, flooding is the biggest issue in Fulton the elevation of my place is higher than most in the county.
Typical realestate agent. Neglects to report that RP does not have enough water for the population even before the current building boom, or that coastal flooding is bad and getting worse, 'the water is not good quality, taxes are high to support the tourist industry, traffic is getting bad, not much shopping in town, relatively frequent tropical weather, bad mosquitos, unreliable electric service, poor cell coverage, at times tourist population overwhelms the city and will become worse as population boom continues. I don't think this area is a good long term investment area due to sea level rise.

Holiday Beach owns it's own water department and we do not run out of water. Did not get turned off when it froze.
