Allison Pearson Free Speech Investigation DROPPED By Police

  • Essex Police have closed an investigation into a journalist for alleged incitement of racial hatred over a post online that has since been deleted.
An independent review will be launched into the force’s handling of the case.
Telegraph columnist Allison Pearson said she was wearing her dressing gown when she was spoken to by two constables from Essex Police on Remembrance Sunday, about a year-old post on social media platform X, formerly Twitter.
News of the visit sparked a backlash, including from former Conservative prime ministers Boris Johnson and Liz Truss, who both called the incident “appalling”, and X owner Elon Musk.
Essex Police had been carrying out an investigation under the Public Order Act but said on Thursday that it decided to take “no further action” after the Crown Prosecution Service advised that no charges should be brought.
The force added that the National Police Chiefs’ Council hate crime lead has agreed to conduct an independent review into the force’s handling of the matter.

All part of the communist agenda. they virtually control the media, next is to discredit the police, a desire which the police are happily complying with because the upper echelons of Copville are university indoctrinated Marxists.

Who approved this investigation? How many hours have spent investagating this and at what cost to the public purse? How large was the team involved? Were the CPS consulted and what advice did they give? What has been the timeline for this investigation i.e. when did it start? Having now concluded this case, what are its findings and conclusions? During this investigation, what REAL crimes were reported and went unchecked? The British public deserve to have these questions answered. Whilst the police force and Govt are considered to be unfit for purpose, the British public should be able to ask these questions and seek answers for their overwhelming stupidity.

Not every officer in the police is thick. When they tell you that you may have committed a crime but refuse to tell you what it is and then invite you to an interview in 'their house,' they know it will have piqued your curiosity and you will want to know what they are on about as well as wanting to defend yourself as you're sure you've done nothing wrong so there is more likelihood of you attending an interview where they will go fishing hoping that you talk yourself into admitting an offense.
In this instance curiosity may well jail the cat.

'Heads should roll!'? Allison Pearson was threatened with being prosecuted for 'potential incitement of racial hatred'. In the police statement today there is no reference to this nor to the statement by Roger Hirst, the Police Commissioner of Essex, made on 19 November in which he said 'We can't go around ignoring crimes, just because it's politically sensitive'. In view of the enquiry into the handling of the Allison Pearson investigation that is going to be made by the National Police Chiefs' Council's Hate Lead, that was also announced today, given that the case of the individual who observed a clear case of anti-Semitism in Essex and reported it to police and was told there was no case for the perpetrator to answer, it is clear that there is two-tier policing in the county, because of political sensitivity. What the Enquiry will find, I do not know, but it could be very embarrassing for the individuals involved. My preference would be for a completely independent investigation.
