Sanjay himself chose Alia but she didn’t think she could do it at first, she though she was too young but he convinced her. She had to learn Gujarati and change her voice to sound raspy. She really did a phenomenal job playing this woman from 16 - 40. She’s a great actress. Your reaction was very good and intelligent.
