OH MY GOODNESS! I am a 72 year old woman. Right now I am going through a very stressful time and I was flipping through channels the other night, couldn't sleep, and I found the two of you! I was awake untill 4:00 AM! So much FUN! Amber you are so innocent and refreshing! You are such a perfect couple, thoughtful and kind to each other. Your reactions to the music, I grew up with made me laugh, I guess, I take the past intertainers for granted and you make me see them in a whole new light. Your girls are adorable and I can't wait to see the baby! Thank you, for the memories, the smiles, the reminder that tomorrow will be better, life is good, and for sharing yourselves with me. God bless.
I too Claudia am going through a lot and found these two and stayed awake till five in the morning . I love when generations discover the power of music.
"Blue Suede Shoes" is a cover of a song originally written and recorded by Carl Perkins, who was a label mate at Sun Records with Elvis Presley, and they were good friends. Here is an interesting story. When Sun Records was about to release "Blue Suede Shoes" as a single, Carl Perkins got into a bad automobile accident, and was hospitalized for his injuries. When Elvis Presley was making his series of TV appearances on "The Stage Show" on CBS, Presley was facing pressure by RCA Records to perform his version of "Blues Suede Shoes" on television first. Elvis Presley refused to perform the song on the program as a matter of principle, until Carl Perkins recuperated from his injuries, and was able to perform the song on television himself. Presley kept his word, and after Perkins performed the song on television, Presley finally performed the song himself on television also.
I think you had a lot of #2s back then - Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard. Buddy Holly, The Big Bopper, Chuck Berry, Everly Brothers, Bo Diddley, Roy Orbison, even Johnny Cash.
Rick Nelson "Poor Little Fool", "Travelin' Man", and "It's Late", Roy Orbison "Crying", "Pretty Woman", and "Only the Lonely" to name just a few of many great songs between them. Also Jerry Lee Lewis, and Johnny Cash were Elvis's "contemporaries".
I will answer that question: There was Elvis No. 1 and then EVERYONE else came number 2. No one could beat Elvis. No one was even in the running behind Elvis!!!
Try “Bossa Nova,” “Return to Sender,” “Teddy Bear,” and “All Shook Up.” My favorite live shows are his ‘68 Comeback Special and Aloha from Hawaii. ♥️♥️ But you can’t go wrong with any live performance with Elvis. He was THE entertainer.
This is typical of young Elvis. Heartbreak Hotel, Return To Sender, That's Alright Mama, Teddy Bear are also the young Elvis I remember most as a kid. Then there's I Can't Help Falling In Love With You.
During Elvis' domination of those early years, there were few contenders. There were a bunch of imitators, but nobody could compete with his talent, voice, looks and charisma.
Not a song by Elvis, but 2 songs about Elvis that you might want to preview. 1) Walking In Memphis by Marc Cohn. This one is very blues with INCREDIBLE piano sounds. 2) Black Velvet by Alannah Myles. This one is damn sultry rock. The title is in relation to the fact that back in the day you could always find pictures of Elvis done in a black velvet style of painting. Great job guys!
Little known fact: Carl's original recording of his song 'Blue Suede Shoes' charted higher than Elvis' version! But Elvis good looks, dance moves, and overall charisma made the song the launching point of a much bigger career. Carl, who was a perfect gentleman, always admitted that he had a wife and kids and didn't have Elvis good looks and described himself as having a voice like a pail of gravel - so he was never going to be Elvis Presley. But Carl was delighted to say that royalties from Elvis' recording bought him a lot of Cadillacs over the years. Carl was also an excellent guitarist and was a pioneer of the rockabilly sound.
More fun Elvis, check out You Ain't Nothing But a Hound Dog, Teddy Bear - girls will love them. There's also a song from his movie GI Blues called I Don't Have a Wooden Heart. Then get romantic with Love Me Tender and Are You Lonesome Tonight. His catalog is huge. Lots of fun stuff out there.
After his big "comeback" in 1968 is when he started to take on the more flamboyant look and his definitive stage wardrobe. He truly was THE KING of ROCK AND ROLL. Who else could look good in those crazy jumpsuits?
Back then as far as I'm concerned there was Elvis and then there was everyone else. And today there is Elvis and then there is everything else. But he started in suits and regular clothes in the 50s then after that it was many years of movies and few concerts but by 69 70 the jumpsuits and bling came. His extra weight came very near the end. RIP. I saw him at the Fairground arena in 1970. One of the biggest highlights of my life
People talked about him ordering 3 banana splits and then going to the bathroom to throw up. I think Elvis life got pretty sad toward the end. He was spiraling out of control on the pills and the lifestyle.
And I'd add to any list, Gene Vincent and Eddie Cochran. In fact Gene was considered a rival, but after a motorcycle accident he was physically limited and hence could never be the performer that Elvis was.
I'd also add that the weight did come on late in life, and was due to medical problems--I can't remember the specifics, but my doctor treated Elvis in his later years and told me this. No doubt diet and drugs also contributed, but apparently it was largely related to health problems.
My mom was only 19 when she had me in 1955 and I was her second child. During her entire life she would always swoon at the very mention of Elvis. The Elvis you just saw was how she saw him through out her lifetime. So now I can't see him or hear his music without thinking of my mother who was such a huge fan of the "King," Elvis Presley.
When Elvis first came out in the 50's, his style was called Rockabilly, and he was years before the Beatles. His contemporaries that I still really like were Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison, and Buddy Holly.
Elvis personally enjoyed singing Southern Gospel music. Listen to Elvis sing “Never Walk Alone.” Elvis only won two Grammys and they were both for his Gospel songs.
I've suggested Johnny Mathis to them before too. From the Johnny Mathis discography Wikipedia page: "In a ranking of the top album artists of the last half of the 1950s in terms of Billboard chart performance, he [Mathis} comes in at number two, for the 1960s, number 10, and for the period from 1955 to 2009 he is at number six."
Elvis starred in a whole series of simple movies where he plays a surfer or a race car driver and they all had musical breaks where all the characters will dance while Elvis sings the new song written for the movie or sometimes covered from another artist. The dance sequences are very family friendly.
Blue Suede Shoes is actually a cover song done by Elvis Presley. It was originally written and recorded on SUN Records in 1955 by Carl Perkins and went to #2 on the charts.
Three fun Elvis songs that are kid appropriate would be, "All Shook Up'", "Don't Be Cruel", and "Hound Dog". A Little Less Conversation would also be a good Elvis song for you to listen to, but not with the little ones around.
You all had the best today, Knocked it out of the park! AC/DC - Supertramp and Elvis, A plus, plus! WOW! Great job. Fun Elvis songs for kids.....Teddy Bear.
Funny you should mention. This was originally recorded by Carl Perkins and it was to be his launch song. Carl got in a bad car accident and couldn’t perform for a while. Elvis totally took advantage of that and recorded this version. Carl never got the fame Elvis did but he has some seriously good songs. The Beatles even covered a few of his songs.
Elvis was a one & only when he came out. He grew up listening to gospel & he sang in a all black choir when he was a kid. My daddy had a band & he sang Elvis music he also dressed in black & wore a duck tail. His nickname was "The King" My daddy would sing this song to us kids. My mom always told us "your dad sounds like Elvis" of course we didn't believe it until we heard him sing. He did sound like him that I thought it was a record playing but it was my dad singing. My daddy passed in December 2021. So hearing Elvis is kind of a way I can hear my daddy's voice. ❤
There were other rockabilly artists -- Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis, Gene Vincent -- but I don't think Elvis had any serious competition in this period. Maybe Buddy Holly came closest.
Roy Orbison was the better singer, Elvis even said it and when he was called the king of Rock by a journalist he quickly told them off as said no that's Fats Domino. My dad always preferred Buddy to Elvis though he loved them both.
It was once said Buddy Holly was the only singer that Elvis was concerned about because Buddy Holly could write his own music and he was not what you call the best looking guy more of a nerd look but he could write some damn good songs
@@ronaldackerman7383 why would Elvis be concerned about Buddy Holly? All he can do is write songs and can't singer like Elvis. Elvis was all at one a Baritone, tenor and bass. He could sing anything. Elvis was the whole package. As Carl Perkins said once, " Elvis had everything. He had the looks, the moves, the manager, and the talent. And he didn't look like Mr. Ed, like a lot of us did, Elvis was hitting them with sideburns, flashy clothes, and no ring on the finger. I had three kids."
Your daughter wearing a Def Leppard t-shirt to school is probably the COOLEST THING any reactor has ever said!!! My last comment was on how you guys appreciate older music. The fact that you're sharing with your children and now they are gaining interest is simply beautiful... I LOVE you guys!!! Also, a good kid friendly song with dancing: "Bossa Nova Baby", from the movie Fun in Acapulco, or "C'mon Everybody", from the movie Viva Las Vegas.
I've not seen you react to Buddy Holly yet, considering he was only recording for a couple of years before his tragic death his output and influence was phenomenal. Tracks like That'll Be The Day, Rave On, Everyday, True Love Ways, Peggy Sue, Not Fade Away, Oh Boy, It Doesn't Matter Anymore, Raining In My Heart and a few others are all classics. I've got his greatest hits album, 20 tracks and 17 or 18 of them are instantly recognisable to people of my generation who were born after he died.
buddy holly and richie vallens need to be covered on this channel, if only for you to appreciate what was meant by "the day the music died" (american pie)
I agree with other comments I’ve read.. Devil In Disguise is a must hear! Suspicious Minds, Love Me Tender, & Can’t Help Falling in Love with You are all sooo good!
Elvis started it all. Then all of a sudden bands and artists were coming from everywhere. And his great legacy was to inspire future performers to continue keep it going. He we are 60 odd years later and the music is still popular. And so much of today's younger generation discovering him and other artists.
"Suspicious Minds" came along in the early years of the "Great Elvis Comeback", along with "In The Ghetto." Early Elvis would include "You Ain't Nothin' bit a Hound Dog" and "Love Me Tender"
Put on my blue suede shoes and I boarded the plane touched down in the land of the delta blues in the middle of the pouring rain.... Walking in Memphis by Marc Cohn the most beautiful song about the king of rock and roll. P.S. I'm one of those people who is absolutely sure that I met Elvis after he supposedly died.
For a really fun Elvis song I know you'll love "Return to Sender" so upbeat and he's trying to get back together with his girl and she keeps marking his letters "return to sender..." fun song
His contemporaries were folks like Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry, Little Richard off the top of my head. The roots of rock and roll that inspired rock bands of the 60's and 70's and expanded from there.
Great choices! They were all amazing! And rock and roll would never have been what it was without any one of them. They ALL had important contributions to make.
I’m glad you did “The King”! He was my mothers favorite performer. When she found out he died, she cried for almost a week. Even now she will stop doing stuff and crank up the radio.
The little lip curl thing was a signature Elvis, for sure. And that drop in the register was also like his signature 'note.' Everybody loved those things. Kid-appropriate songs would be Don't Be Cruel, Return to Sender, and Viva Las Vegas
Elvis had so many layers, you guys haven’t even experienced the concert years yet or gospel. Gospel is when you truly hear what a spiritual person he was. The live version of How Great Thou Art is just beautiful! Amber would love Its Now or Never and Hurt. Your girls would definitely love Teddy Bear and Return to Sender.
When my 26yr old was 5, I told him his birthday was the same day a famous rocker, Elvis, passed away, Aug. 16th. That led to playing it for him. Then I bought him his 50 number 1’s album. He used to leap around the living room jamming to Elvis. My wife, not an Elvis fan, was not too excited, lol.
iconic Elvis songs..."Love Me Tender" and with Christmas coming you don't want to miss "Blue Christmas." He made several movies as well...you might want to check some of them out.
This was his screen test for his role in "Love Me Tender," his first movie. Don't know if you've noticed but THERE'S NO STRINGS ON THE GUITAR!! These were the years when he was a teen idol. Elvis was able to do any type of music and do it well. One of my favorites is "Can't Help Falling In Love With You." One of the best ballads ever. Keep on keepin' on. BCNU..
It’s now or never is still another sound of Elvis that you have to explore . The man had so many facets to his talent and the note he hits at the end of the song is amazing ! He was and is the GOAT! I think This clip was a screen test for the movies
I grew up with Elvis!! My mom loved Elvis and she had a bunch of his albums. She passed on in 2006 and dad passed on in 2011 and I have her and dad’s albums and I love them so much. A lot of great memories ❤️❤️❤️❤️😊
My grandmother had an entire room dedicated to #TheKing. There was even a clock with his swinging hips and blue suedes ticking out the time. Elvis was well loved in that house. Shout out to #Marlene #TheG" 🌹 #LoveAndPeace #AndElvis
I’m sure one of the most played songs at weddings has to be “Can’t help falling in love with you”. Such a classic. “A little less conversation” is another fun Elvis song you guys should check out.
Now that you've heard this iconic tune and been introduced to Rockabilly at the same time you should consider *"Guitar Man"* it's also a happy song... Three contemporaries: Buddy Holly, The Big Bopper and Richie Valens. And when their plane crashed on February 3rd 1959 it saddened the world so much that that day became known as "The Day The Music Died", and yes, that's what made Don McLean write *"American Pie"* Thanks S.W.
Elvis had four records that hit #1 on the pop, country, and R&B charts - all three. Those were “Don’t Be Cruel,” “Hound Dog,” “Teddy Bear,” and “Jailhouse Rock.” He had huge crossover appeal.
It would be interesting for you to watch an interview with Elvis and you could see what a kind, respectful young man he was. His mamma and daddy raised him right. Things went off the rails a bit later, but to be fair, no one else had ever done the superstar before. Elvis was pretty much the first one that was absolutely recognized and mobbed everywhere he went, surrounded by people that weren't honest with him, isolated with that group of people, etc. But he pretty much always remained the respectful country boy.
Some upbeat/kid-friendly Elvis songs: Bossa Nova Baby (Fun in Acapulco) “Rock-a-Hula Baby”, “Ito Eats”, and “Slicin’ Sand” (Blue Hawaii) (Let’s Have a) Party Wooden Heart (scene from GI Blues) 70-80% of his movie songs are upbeat. Usually the quality lessens as the years go on, but there are gems from most of his 31 feature movies.
His music was in my parents living room playing all the time. He is a total icon. I was lucky enough to travel to Graceland a few years back and see not only where he lived but so much memorabilia- it was incredible ! Love watching the old movies with all the songs and all the moves
The one MUST SEE video is "Trying To Get To You" from his 1968 Comeback Special. The song was originally from the self titled debut album " Elvis Presley", back in March 1956. He sang many of his early hits on the special, but this one was a super rockin' stand out ! This was Elvis at his absolute best, dressed in black leather, and looking hotter than ever ! He never looked or sounded better, and OMG , that smile ! You will both love it, I promise.
I believe karate and blinged out Elvis was when he started headlining shows in Vegas. His fame was beyond nuts by then.. and his personal life was a super rollercoaster. I think his extravagant looks were a hint to his level of fame. Big.. bold and to the stratosphere!
You have to do Suspicious Minds, IMO the best Elvis song, but everyone has there own personal fav, the live version on the early 70s in Las Vegas is incredible performance ! Another good reaction team RSquad Correct me if I’m wrong but this song was in the first era of Elvis, why his voice was so pure and strong, the comeback era after the army and disappointment of movies he’d obviously changed and matured then the 3rd and final era was his final era, post marriage Vegas, death etc still remember the day in 77 I was a kid, it was massive news sad. Ladies and gentlemen Elvis has left the building,…….! Who was number 2 Elvis once said Roy Orbison had the best voice in Rock n Roll, but you had Buddy Holly, Jerry Lee Lewis you reacted to the other day, Gene Pitney, Rick Nelson, Bobbi Darin, Frankie lane, Chubbie Checker, Chuck Berry, Frankie Avalon, Otis Redding, so many bands, but aid say second to Elvis was probably Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, Holly was 22 and Valens 17 when the music died. In that plane crash that killed them and the Big Bopper, if you haven’t reacted to By Bye Miss American Pie by Don MaClean then you should, but because Elvis spoke so highly of Roy Orbison you’d have to put him in there alongside those, prob many others, not my era, but my parents always played this music.🤘
Thank you, for the memories, the smiles, the reminder that tomorrow will be better, life is good, and for sharing yourselves with me. keep checking them out you will see the baby...
Welcome to the family! Many of us discovered them exactly the same way. They are so refreshing and infectious! Great channel.
I too Claudia am going through a lot and found these two and stayed awake till five in the morning . I love when generations discover the power of music.
You rock . !! You are the sort of person that makes the world a kinder nicer place . I hope you can cope and realise how precious you are 💖🙏🏻
You are part of a great family now Claudia 😊
"Teddy Bear" is the ABSOLUTE Song your girls should be introduced to!!
Y’all gotta give Buddy Holly a listen to. You’ve covered most of the other huge 1950’s rockers…. And he’s one of the best!
That'll be the day. Peggy Sue. Rave On.
@@matthewdrake4385 Rave on is must.
I love Buddy Holly
Dion and Belmonts were more doo wop I think. Still worth a look or listen though. In fact the whole doo wop genre they should check out.
And Ritchie Valens!
"Blue Suede Shoes" is a cover of a song originally written and recorded by Carl Perkins, who was a label mate at Sun Records with Elvis Presley, and they were good friends.

Elvis loved his gospel roots and his Mama!
If you want an Elvis song for the girls, it has to be Hound Dog. We sang that constantly when we were kids.
Previously a hit for Big Mama Thornton.
Pat Boone.
You haven't heard all the sides of Elvis. He's Country, he's Gospel, he's jazz, he's crooner, he's big band. He did it all!
And he did them all well!!!!!
@@nancymunroe3672 That's why he is now, and always will be, The King.
Kentucky Rain is one of my favorites. Another is Old Shep.
Except write his own songs. He mostly copied other people's songs.
Yes my grandma had his gospel albums
Elvis walks into SUN Studios in Memphis.
"Who you sound like, boy?"
Elvis: "I don't sound like nobody."
He broke several molds. They wouldn't show his legs up close - his shaking was frowned upon at that time. He pushed the boundaries.
Elvis es único e irrepetible por eso siempre será el 👑💖
I think you had a lot of #2s back then - Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard. Buddy Holly, The Big Bopper, Chuck Berry, Everly Brothers, Bo Diddley, Roy Orbison, even Johnny Cash.
That's a very good list....
I’d say Johnny Cash is more country, but I agree with most of these.
Fats Domino?
In my recollection, the Everly Brothers had the widest airplay after Elvis.
The Everly Brothers - Bye, Bye Love 0r Wake Up Little Susie
Fats Domino - I'm Walkin' or Blueberry Hill
Rick Nelson "Poor Little Fool", "Travelin' Man", and "It's Late", Roy Orbison "Crying", "Pretty Woman", and "Only the Lonely" to name just a few of many great songs between them. Also Jerry Lee Lewis, and Johnny Cash were Elvis's "contemporaries".
Yes Yes and Yes
Absolutely
Yes, you hit the right ones. I meant to add Conway Twitty to the list.
Ooo Roy Orbison! I haven't thought of him in awhile. Great choice.
Yes Yes Yes Roy Orbison "Pretty Woman" and "Only the Lonely" my favorites 😀😀
"Suspicious Minds" is the Elvis song I would react to....
I wish they would react to suspicious minds they would love it
Yes!! Now THAT they have to react to.
Try some Roy Orbison.
Suspicious Minds 'Live' Vegas performance ❤
Definitely suspicious minds live in Vegas 1970
What a fantastic accompaniment, Elvis was amazing as were his musicians.
I will answer that question: There was Elvis No. 1 and then EVERYONE else came number 2. No one could beat Elvis. No one was even in the running behind Elvis!!!
Two Elvis songs that really showcase his voice are “Surrender” and “It’s Now or Never”. Surrender especially.
Oh yes, definitely!
YESSSSS!!!! Both will blow them away but SURRENDER just a bit more. Great call❤️
Surrender gets my vote... Good call...
It's Now or Never, I love that song!
It’s now or never is actually Italian O sole mio👌
Try “Bossa Nova,” “Return to Sender,” “Teddy Bear,” and “All Shook Up.”
My favorite live shows are his ‘68 Comeback Special and Aloha from Hawaii. ♥️♥️ But you can’t go wrong with any live performance with Elvis. He was THE entertainer.
The 68 comeback, is the best ever. I think the main rival was Tom Jones but never came close inmy opinion.
Yes I agree 👍💯
Follow That Dream, Treat Me Nice
This is typical of young Elvis. Heartbreak Hotel, Return To Sender, That's Alright Mama, Teddy Bear are also the young Elvis I remember most as a kid. Then there's I Can't Help Falling In Love With You.

This was originally by Carl Perkins- he stayed pretty close to the original for this
Millionaires quartet! Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins - Sun Records -a happenstance recording. Happy Accident?

Big Mama Thornton's Hound Dog is better (my opinion) as it's raw and the original.
And "Home Is Where The Heart Is"
How about from G.I. Blues,. Your Daddy wore Big boots
Can't leave out 'Can't Help Falling in Love"!
He also has a lullaby five sleepy heads and the video for that features pebbles from the Flintstones that would be perfect for baby Luca

Carl Perkins was a hero of George Harrison's, and you can certainly hear it in his playing.

Current rockabilly would be Brian Setzer although he is also a swing artist.
Eddie Cochran ?
Also, a good kid friendly song with dancing:
"Bossa Nova Baby", from the movie Fun in Acapulco, or
"C'mon Everybody", from the movie Viva Las Vegas.
RAVE ON!
Officially, it's Buddy Holly & the Crickets.
The Beatles named themselves after Buddy Holly & the Crickets.
So, The Beatles were fans.
I love these two and I love Elvis
I agree with other comments I’ve read.. Devil In Disguise is a must hear! Suspicious Minds, Love Me Tender, & Can’t Help Falling in Love with You are all sooo good!
Elvis started it all. Then all of a sudden bands and artists were coming from everywhere. And his great legacy was to inspire future performers to continue keep it going. He we are 60 odd years later and the music is still popular. And so much of today's younger generation discovering him and other artists.
Elvis "Love Me Tender" & "Can't Help Falling in Love" are two must reactions and Amber will thank you for it
Suspicious Minds, the recorded version is best! That's not a "fun" one, though. "Love Me Tender", is super super sweet.
Yes, and "I Can't Help Falling In Love (with You). That's a swooner.
"Suspicious Minds" came along in the early years of the "Great Elvis Comeback", along with "In The Ghetto." Early Elvis would include "You Ain't Nothin' bit a Hound Dog" and "Love Me Tender"
Yes!!! Just suggested 'Suspicious Minds' and 'Can't Help Falling in Love' along with 'Burning Love'!!!
US mail was a fun song, so was Little Eva.
And Fine Young Cannibals do a classic cover of Suspicious Minds.
I listen to him every day, love him.
Another Elvis love song you guys may enjoy. "That Someone You'll Never Forget" .
Put on my blue suede shoes and I boarded the plane
touched down in the land of the delta blues in the middle of the pouring rain.... Walking in Memphis by Marc Cohn the most beautiful song about the king of rock and roll.
P.S. I'm one of those people who is absolutely sure that I met Elvis after he supposedly died.
I've been waiting for them to do this song. Jay will love the piano, and Amber will love his voice.
Yessss!!!! Cannot wait until the discover this song and Black Velvet.
@@scapito Absolutely! I would love to see them do the Alanna Myles version of Black Velvet
@@ronnix23 yep!
@@scapito black velvet is so smooooth
"Bossa Nova Baby" is a fun Elvis song to dance to, along with "Hound Dog"
For a really fun Elvis song I know you'll love "Return to Sender" so upbeat and he's trying to get back together with his girl and she keeps marking his letters "return to sender..." fun song
His comeback special is Amazing!! He looks really cool.
No volvera a existir nadíe como Elvis, con el cambio la historia de la musica, otra dimensión de artista, King of Kings
His contemporaries were folks like Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry, Little Richard off the top of my head. The roots of rock and roll that inspired rock bands of the 60's and 70's and expanded from there.
Yes, along with Carl Perkins, Buddy Holly etc...
Johnny Cash sang with Elvis and was getting pretty famous at that time.
@@tonyhomant244 - Yes, Buddy Holly is my answer.
The original of blue suede shoes was by Carl Perkins and Elvis took his hit and made it an Elvis huge hit and famous part of his musical legacy.
You two are my absolute favorite reactors! Thank you!
I just wore my blue suede shoes a couple days ago! (3rd pair so far) Needless to say, I’m a fan of this song! 😂
The little lip curl thing was a signature Elvis, for sure. And that drop in the register was also like his signature 'note.' Everybody loved those things. Kid-appropriate songs would be Don't Be Cruel, Return to Sender, and Viva Las Vegas
He was in the womb with his twin, born earlier. I feel like his brother was hugging him close, cheek to cheek.
Please please do Elvis’ “American Trilogy”- 1973 live “Aloha from Hawaii” version. Incredible performance!
Love all you reactions. You guys look like a sweet couple. Wishing you a Lifetime of Happiness!
I suggest his song: Trying To Get To You off his 68 Comeback special
iconic Elvis songs..."Love Me Tender" and with Christmas coming you don't want to miss "Blue Christmas." He made several movies as well...you might want to check some of them out.
there ya go! Blue Christmas!
Lesser known but a great Christmas song, It's Christmas Time Pretty Baby. Elvis kills that one
BCNU..
I Can't Help Falling In Love is one of my favorite Elvis songs
Elvis was the best! I love Elvis!
Elvis suggestions: Hound Dog, Heartbreak Hotel, King Creole.
Also Trying to Get to You from his '68 Comeback Special
It’s now or never is still another sound of Elvis that you have to explore . The man had so many facets to his talent and the note he hits at the end of the song is amazing ! He was and is the GOAT! I think This clip was a screen test for the movies
I grew up with Elvis!! My mom loved Elvis and she had a bunch of his albums. She passed on in 2006 and dad passed on in 2011 and I have her and dad’s albums and I love them so much. A lot of great memories ❤️❤️❤️❤️😊
Mean woman blues from the movie loving you,Thank you so much for your reaction. ❤The G.O.A.T. ☝👍👊🕊😇🇵🇷🇺🇲❤🙏
That's the real King of Rock & Roll right there.
My grandmother had an entire room dedicated to #TheKing. There was even a clock with his swinging hips and blue suedes ticking out the time. Elvis was well loved in that house. Shout out to #Marlene #TheG" 🌹 #LoveAndPeace #AndElvis
Thats priceless. Such fun. Do you have pictures of it?
@@user-ii4zf5iq3t None with easy access on mobile. Perhaps in an album somewhere in the shed though?
I’m sure one of the most played songs at weddings has to be “Can’t help falling in love with you”. Such a classic. “A little less conversation” is another fun Elvis song you guys should check out.
I chose love me tender for my wedding.
Now that you've heard this iconic tune and been introduced to Rockabilly at the same time you should consider *"Guitar Man"* it's also a happy song...
Three contemporaries: Buddy Holly, The Big Bopper and Richie Valens. And when their plane crashed on February 3rd 1959 it saddened the world so much that that day became known as
"The Day The Music Died", and yes, that's what made Don McLean write
*"American Pie"*
Thanks
S.W.
Jerry Lee Lewis and Little Richard were contemporaries but never as big as Elvis.
ELVIS HAS MANY MANY GOOD SONGS 🎶💃🎶
All shook up
Elvis had four records that hit #1 on the pop, country, and R&B charts - all three. Those were “Don’t Be Cruel,” “Hound Dog,” “Teddy Bear,” and “Jailhouse Rock.” He had huge crossover appeal.
After the 50s, he had success in movies in the 60s. Then came the 68 comeback special he transitioned to the white jumpsuit in the 70s.
The 68 comeback special it's my all-time favorite of Elvis.
The stage clothes era started when he started headlining in Las Vegas.
Elvis started the lip curl. Billy copied it but he does it well.
There will never be another Elvis!
You gave me a mountain....is a awesome song. Live from Hawaii.
Some upbeat/kid-friendly Elvis songs:
Bossa Nova Baby (Fun in Acapulco)
“Rock-a-Hula Baby”, “Ito Eats”, and “Slicin’ Sand” (Blue Hawaii)
(Let’s Have a) Party
Wooden Heart (scene from GI Blues)
70-80% of his movie songs are upbeat.
Thank you for playing Elvis Presley love e❤️
You should react to Elvis's song" Surrender" it's a beautiful song and it shows the versatility of his voice, also the 70's Elvis is amazing too.
A beautiful song, “Crawfish” is a kinda duet Elvis did at the beginning of his movie “King Creole”. So light hearted, yet spiritual.
Yes, I love that song and that movie.
Yes, it’s wonderful.
Billy Idol is a huge Elvis fan and does the lip roll because of his love for Elvis. Elvis did it first.
Amber would probably get emotional if y'all did "Don't Cry Daddy". Such a powerful song!!!!!!! Love your reactions! Have a great day!!
You have to do Suspicious Minds, IMO the best Elvis song, but everyone has there own personal fav, the live version on the early 70s in Las Vegas is incredible performance !
Another good reaction team RSquad
Correct me if I’m wrong but this song was in the first era of Elvis, why his voice was so pure and strong, the comeback era after the army and disappointment of movies he’d obviously changed and matured then the 3rd and final era was his final era, post marriage Vegas, death etc still remember the day in 77 I was a kid, it was massive news sad.
