To complement their performances at Carnegie Hall, select members of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra led master classes on February 22, 2018. Participating young artists-alumni of Carnegie Hall’s National Youth Orchestra of the United States of America (NYO-USA) and NYO2-had the opportunity to perform and work with these world-renowned musicians in a one-on-one setting in Carnegie Hall’s Resnick Education Wing. Keep in mind, this is supposed to be played across a massive romantic orchestra and fill a concert hall. "Aggressive"-sounding articulation will sound clear and strong at the back of a hall, while "soloistic", softer tonguing will sound washy and get lost. That's what Hans Peter Schuh is trying to say. Needless to say, I don't need to prove his skill, just listen to him in Vienna Philharmonic recordings.

Yes, it's Hans Peter Schuh. He's a professor and principel trumpet of the Vienna Philharmonic... But I would prefer the student as principel trumpet xD

Such a beautiful trumpeter terrorized by an incompetent man. I am surprised that he is not able to understand it himself and not participate in such events.
