So we just did that and now I have to file a sales tax return from June 2022 - Current (April 2023). and I want to pull my hair out lol We didn't have very many sales, but its still all so stressful. S or C Corp.. They are both corporations and would therefore pay a state income tax. I was told that today by the Florida Department of Revenue. Overall good video, lots of helpful info.

As a computer services company, sometimes i have to provide parts or even computers to the customer. I understand sales tax applies here.
But most of my income is made on hourly services. If i sold a $1000 part in the same month that i billed $15,000 of labor, is the part + labor taxed? Or is only the $1000 part taxed?
If both should be taxed because of the $1000 part, are there any benefits to sending the customer two invoices - 1 for parts, and another for labor?
My last employer used to tax both parts and services when a part was sold in the same month, which i think was wrong.
